You’ve missed the point, but also helped support their point. The comment was about criminals that rape and murder - as in people that perform those actions.

Whether society accurately captures and properly deals with those people is an entirely different subject. The fact society even has to do so is a net negative

That sounds awful. My hand has to travel to the glovebox, find a button, back to the touch screen, then back to the box. There's no eloquence.

I think the tesla glove box is easier for a driver to open than a manual one. Two rapid taps & it's waiting for you

People seem to miss the most critical point. Physical buttons aren't needed when you can focus on the input, such as when a vehicle is driving itself. Physical controls are needed for all non tesla's / vehicles that require attention

On the contrary, you can hear Andrej Karpathy explain how other sensors produce noise & are too low bandwidth when compared to vision. Other full self driving systems will probably follow suit & get rid of impossible to calibrate lidar systems. How are the cameras mediocre? Do you want even higher resolution cameras? This would cause compute turmoil. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W1JBAfV4Io

You clearly don't know what you're talking about. A holding company is responsible for the 21 billion. Elon happens to have created & owned that holding company. It's a perfect vehicle for him to allow private investors
