Why would the executive (or anyone) continue to do the job?

I was wondering how they expected customers to install some of these items in multi-unit buildings. At the bottom of the page it appears this is being done in partnership with property developers and not sold directly to customers.

Very well done! I was not familiar with this game before, and I somehow missed the "help" link, but within a few minutes I was able to understand the game and actually managed to finish a game shortly after. I'm a big fan of these casual games that have very simple interfaces.

After playing I've found it will automatically deal the next row of 3 without you having to do anything. That way there is always a possible set on the screen. Definitely a bit uncomfortable wondering if you are looking for a set that is not possible.

Not the parent comment but I have heard that it is fairly common among UPS/FedEx drivers. I do agree the notion sounds pretty outlandish. To play devil's advocate, I would say it is likely more common than many people would initially expect.

10-15 years ago, I was certain that "bullshitting" people was going to disappear in the near future. It seemed inevitable that people would just pull out their phone and fact check any scam or lie. In a bizarre twist, it appears the opposite has happened.

Have you considered those symptoms are more commonly associated with caffeine which is also found in Sprite? Sounds like your tolerance may have lowered.

That is an incredibly clever solution. Could you go a step further and reward schools who have a lower default rate as well? Having an institutions incentives aligned with the students sounds like the first step to solving this.

It really seems like this is where you should have some sort of concrete contract/agreement to reassure developers. Without that, I can't see how anyone could trust them.

Definitely a fun start to a game. Reminds me of Adventure Capitalist and predating that Dope Wars and some similar games. It definitely needs to have independent boom/bust cycles for each city as right now there is no reason to touch most of the mid-priced areas.

Also I think the boom/bust cycles need to be a little bit more volatile. Right now it's far too easy to buy low and sell high as fast as you can click.

I'd love to get your code for that if you're willing to share. I have my hue lights set up and synced with the ESPN app in IFTTT but that triggers for every game event not just goals. Would love to get it set up with something that will work a bit better.

It would likely come down to how much interest we have in the product. Because we already have everything in place for canvas, framed products, and posters, we will be starting with those as our production lines are already optimized for that. If we could make a good business case for apparel products then we would absolutely expand there, but it likely won't be for a bit.

I'd have to agree with you. As someone who works in print, I'm usually surprised by the prices the fulfillment services are offering. I actually am preparing a beta launch of a service to offer all of these same products (kind of creepy coincidence) because I do feel the market is lacking. We already have all of the equipment in place and running, along with fantastic discounts on bulk shipping, supplies, packaging etc. Our pricing will be about 25% of what is shown (give or take a small amount). It seems to me Adobe has been much more innovative now that they have their Creative Cloud service. I wonder if this is a result of increased revenues from Creative Cloud or part of their efforts to get everyone to upgrade to the subscription service.

The amount of hurdles this needs to overcome to be purchased include:

-Willing to sign up for a cellular plan with AT&T

-Being Female and also thinking Intel is a fashionable company

-Willing to spend $500 on a fashion product from a company who mainly sells computer chips

-Find the design appealing, I have a strong hunch that this won't appeal to everyone from 13-90.

-Can stop in to one of these 2 "exclusive" stores to actually see what this thing is

-Accept the many limitations vs competitors (no voice input nor keyboard?)

-Actually believe this software/hardware will be upgraded ever again

-Willing to accept its lifespan is 2 years before you have to start paying a monthly fee to use it

Although it works for that, I feel like that would be more of a carrot for users so that they can transition to a more reputable business model. They can use that for a short time to get the card data, but then begin selling their own goods etc. I would be surprised if they left it at this considering how young their userbase is. Mixing 'cash for pics' with a userbase predominantly under 18 in a multi-billion dollar business does not sound like a good idea to me.

Well you wouldn't want to do it before the bids are in. However, there was a gap between when bids are placed and when the winner is announced, that would be a good time.

edit: Of course, any time after the bids were completed would be a good time. After the auction ends would be just as good for you.

Seems like this is laying the groundwork for them to begin offering flash sales. Now they can send you a picture/video of a product and give you a limited amount of time to purchase it at a special price. This won't work without having payment methods on file though, and they won't be able to move worthwhile product without getting a base of cards on file first. That's the only logical business I see evolving from this move.

You seem to have misread my post. I didn't say that no one would bid above market price, I stated that they would additionally buy up all the coins on the market below their buying price.

I don't see anywhere in your cited article that says the coins were purchased for more than market price. Can you point it out for me?

Additionally, if you were a rational investor who believed the coins were worth above market price, why would you not additionally buy up any coins on the market that were selling below that price? Ultimately, bidding up the market price to whatever the "above-market" bid was.

Can you show me a single example of a website making enough to sustain itself on Flattr?

Then don't visit those websites. If you haven't paid money to access the content, immediately turn away from websites that are free and ad supported. If you don't agree with it, why do you have the right to not only "steal" the content on the website, but also needlessly shut down their revenue source just because you not only want the data for free, but you actively want to harm this person supplying the data for free.

Edit: I can't reply further down. However, I included in my original statement that using adblock is an acceptable measure. Why do you actually have to shut down the publishers revenue stream and ultimately their website to show off your dislike for ads? If you want to go with your street musician example, the way I see it is that you are free to not pay him money, however to punch him in the face after listening to his music (and presumably enjoying it) is completely pointless.
