Totally. It feels like it is stuck in 2015.

Luckily we found a much better solution, something that actually sources with reasoning, and gets us real contact information (not crappy InMails).

My co-founder and I spent hundreds of hours on UpWork:

- First, build an awesome profile (at least you think it is, but then you iterate 1000 times)

- Then, search for keywords (yeah, some of them are pretty bad, but after 20h you get which ones work)

- Now, time for filtering the bad posts, and the fake ones, and then finally you get a decent one - but it has 30 applicants already.

UpWork and others do a bad job at filtering and matching, so we scratched our own itch and built gigsent(.)com.

Our plan is screen, curate and help in the application. We only did the first two, so next is:

- Incorporate more sources (freelancer.com, reddit, etc.)

- Generate personalized application answers (still talking to users on how to best do this)

We are still in early stages so feedback is super appreciated.

P.S.: We would love to have shared this for free, but scraping + filtering + matching is SUPER expensive (we barely make any money out of each subscription).

It's a bit a chicken & egg problem: for the traffic to pick up and have contributors, we need to start by adding some content - some of which we have already gone through and fixed it, other not yet there.

We will get there over time, and work with providers that can also bring the quality up!

There is no proof that Google refuses AI content. As long as it is helpful, it ranks just like any other - proof are the websites using this tool and growing in rankings (screenshot on the website).

Dani and I have been building Emilio for emails (pun intended).

Emilio is an AI-powered email manager that automates tasks to save users time. The key functionalities are sorting prioritized emails, summarizing messages and drafting emails with the user's tone (this last one is yet to come). The service operates in the background and integrates with your Gmail / Google Workspace account.

We underwent a Google certification in the past month, so now we’re ready to release it. Most might say: why do I need another AI email client? Well, Emilio works better than most (mix of AI and deterministic algorithms), plus you don’t need to install anything else - it just works on Gmail.

I have forked Blogen and made my version available to the public.

It generates a complete blog post for a given keyword (gotta do that keyword research first): title, introduction, key takeaways, internal linking, service/product promotion, table of contents, FAQ, conclusion.

Basic yet effective to start ranking. The code is not pretty but does the job.
