Happy to read this here, I was also a big fan of HackerFM and then gone, haven't found any information about it neither, so weird.

I found pair programming really useful for a lot of situations like, ramping up new team members or teaching someone about some particular module and even learning together a new language, I think is also an awesome tool for team building and for avoiding knowledge silos. But like everything it also has its drawbacks, like sometimes is difficult to match agendas for pairs, to make an example. The social aspect is difficult for some programmers and also there’s people’s that don’t enjoy pairing, and still enjoy PRs more than pairing, and yes if you overcome your social barriers, you can benefit from both, nice post.

I think like every artistic movement Diego was one of the most influential characters around mexican muralism, however, I think there are names like José Clemente Orozco that IMHO is way more impressive than Rivera, but of course media and other factors always play a big role around arts.

I'm not particularly fan of one person coining a term and have everybody agree on that, I think every team should create its own glossary of terms and always compare against different authors that may have gone deeper analyzing a given topic. There are some terminology that makes sense for some contexts and other that simply not. It may make sense for me to call something in a certain way because my team understands and we all have agree on what are we referring to, instead of having someone to tell us how to call things.

I really like this kind of epistemological analysis on tech terms, specially those that we use all the time and that we think we understand, but mainly for going deeper on a topic and analyze.

Privacy itself is a human right. So every country signing the universal declaration should be pursuing privacy for their citizens, which is not the case.

I do miss keyboards on devices. This is something I'd really buy.

I remember a fintech here at my country contacted me for a possition and they asked me to perform a technical assessment which I diligently executed even since I though that the technical things they were trying to test could be easily asked during an interview, and that it going to cost me some money because they were asking me to use an AWS account, anyways. After finishing the technical thing, I sent an email to notify and proceed with the process, after that they were so difficult to provide availability for the next interview, they wanted a single time which I told them I wasn't able to meet at that time because I was working on that time so they took more days and I ended up loosing 20 bucks and so frustrated because they didn't provide the actual time to proceed with the process, I told the recruiter that if they don't have enough time to get more people with their team then maybe they don't have enough time to actually spend on different things than working. Anyhow, I just wanted to rant that.

Darknet is a framework for Neural Networks, YOLO is more an algorithm focused on object detection I think it could be relatively easy to perform the detection of an object's detection.

I think I haven't started up yet because I don't have enough knowledge about startup or business' legislation in my country (México), and actually that's the reason why I'm looking for a good business cofounder. As you may guess, I haven't found him yet.
