Venezuelan ex-pat in USA. Current obsessions: - brand building - quality over quantity - copywriting - clear thinking
This is exactly what I speak to in this article.
The opposition party has created an interim electoral system, completely ignored the governments results AND they cataloged so that every citizen can find the voting act from their voting table by just entering their ID number.
By their count Maduro LOST the election with only 2+ Million votes, against 8+ million votes for the opposition party.
They effectively made the voting transparent and have it all uploaded to a website where each venezuelan can check right now.
Here's my ID number in case you want to see the results: 9827195.
AS someone who is the core demographic that will use this: if this works the way it says it does, it could cost $100 and I would still expense that to my company without blinking.
Evo Morales tried to run for a 4th term against the law (Bolivia has a 2 term limit, but Evo claimed the first one didn't count). He called a referendum to change the term limits and got shot down. He ran for the elections anyway and "won". The day after the electoral body of Bolivia confirmed that election was rigged. The military then asked him to step down.
I can't understand why Evo is viewed so favorably in the USA.
There isn't a better option, people are just mad that they did not get X feature that they really wanted.
Come this time next year 90% will be using the new MBP because it's a damn good machine and developing in MacOS is simply more comfortable.
What a load of bullshit. If an investor of a known Republican centered industry, let's say a gun manufacturer, donated 1.25M to Hillary's campaign, Marco would be saying praises of him while the people in the gun lobby would be calling for that investors head.
This election cycle has brought the worst out of everyone in the US. I regarded people like @sacca and @marcoarment in a much higher esteem before this began.
