Not sure if this is what you are after but you can use `cmd` + `~` to switch between windows of the same app.
Karabiner Elements is user for a more complex modifier [1]. I use Karabiner to remap Caps Lock to hyper (cmd+ctrl+option) or just esc when pressed alone.

What are the metrics based off of? What is fast growth vs big growth? I couldn't find it on the site and I even downloaded the CSV data but it only had the aggregated numbers.

Did you look into using Zombie instead of PhantomJS? It advertises itself as a tool for headless full stack testing utility but I have come to rely on it for integrating headless browsing in node.js apps.
I'd love to hear commentary from Twitter or Instagram on the rationale for this. I don't think it's very plausible that this is due to 'strain' on Twitter's infrastructure as the Techcrunch article alludes. If API call volume was really the cause for Twitter blocking the API call, I'm sure Instagram would have been happy to throttle the volume of such API calls by limiting the amount of Twitter friend searches over a period of time (ex: you can only find new friends once/week).
It all seems very counterintuitive and you think that Twitter would be encouraging content creation and engagement on their platform as it creates defensibility for the service. Consider this: Twitter probably is positioned to spot emerging trends faster than any other service by being able to mine emergent links, etc.
I think this is going to leave a myriad of mainstream users disenchanted by Twitter locking them out of their friends list.
I signed up to Twitter very early (user id ~5000) and have been enamoured by it's growth and how it's established itself as the preeminent destination for open conversation and realtime search/discovery. There are a lot of smart people at the helm of Twitter and I have faith that they'll realize their mistake and fix it. Otherwise the conversation will go elsewhere and it would be a shame to see all that value dissipate.

How many upgrades does average consumer make on their MacBook Pro? I'd argue it's ~0.
Founders selling a small percentage of their stock as part of a (usually late) financing round is pretty common. It's in the investors interest to see that the founders are focused on growth and not lured by an exit at an unattractive multiple. Letting founders take cash off the table by selling a small percentage of their stock as part of a late financing round keeps the founder focused on growth instead of creating liquidity for themselves. Secondly, capital gains tax on a stock sale is much lower than income tax that would be garnered by paying yourself a bigger salary.
A VC who has participated in an early round also often sells some stock in a late round to hedge their risk.
