I'm in my late 20's and kind of excited about this... Wait, OLIVIA MUNN!? Sold.
You forgot the smart wearable devices that track your GPS location, heart rate, pedometer, and graphs all your daily activities into a neat little dashboard that's accessible in the cloud. Don't forget to get order all your groceries online!
This doesn't surprise me, use to live in Bellingham WA. There are "DOT" cameras that go from south Bellingham all the way to the Canadian border on both sides of i5. I forget how often there are, perhaps 2-5 miles? I understand that some are used for DoT cams, but I always theorized that if the lenses are good enough they could zoom in and potentially read plates. The camera's look like regular light poles, you have to be paying attention to actually see them.
I love simplenote too, replaced my notepad.exe.
Some last words
The current development status is far from being worth called "version 1.0". However, if I could get you interested in this project and you feel like contributing, don't hesitate to ping me by e-mail...
You can fork the project and begin contributing...

Myspace and Geocities had a baby? But they're both dead?
From what I understand, it's the culture. Watch VICE documentaries on Japan's sex culture. No one wants to have kids when the price of living is high, 80 hour work weeks, both male and female are the work force, and sex is viewed as a non-romantic "come and go" as you please pass time. Having kids in Japans high level business/work culture is a tremendous setback. They can't afford that kind of downtime.
When I got to the bottom my monitor started melting down and up and I looked around the room to see if space time had truly been bent...
There should be harsh penalties against wrongfully filed DMCA's, did they Google Search a keyword then blanket filed a ton of URL's?
Yeah I just cut the foil off with scissors or use a knife and then tap the top onto a diff cup.
Because sometimes desk jockeys within the IT world put on their blue collar, settle for a mediocre salary, grow 4-6 pant sizes, and think "this is good enough"
Up until new blood walks up, points out a flaw, and fucks shit up because the "senior" desk jockey can barely squirm out of his $1000 computer chair to reach his keyboard.
That's just my take on it, if Lizard Squad states that it has taken them minimal effort to setup these attacks; then what's stopping a larger organization from doing such things?
and for some reason instagram always has to grab my GPS location when I open it. hmmm gtfo.
I use BeamSyncDropper v2 and have it open on startup. The only downsize is it takes a bit for the terminal window to load and execute the shell script. If you have an SSD this shouldn't be a problem, just be patient for that 2-3 seconds of painstaking peasantry. xD
Download and discussion about BeamSyncDropper can be found here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/customization/92201-beamsyncdroppe...
Also one thing about OS X running in VMWare is make sure you're using the specific CPU to the fullest potential. Graphics are rendered with the use of CPU. If you don't have the processor(s) / cores set properly you could be only at 50% overall performance. For example, I am currently using an i3 330UM. I've noticed a significant jump in performance switching from single processor 2 cores; to 2 processors 4 cores.
Personally, Mavericks outperformed Yosemite on this little machine. I've experienced long window load times, hangs, and even guest crashes since the jump... My main desktop workstation is rocking an i7-930; I WILL NOT upgrade my main VMWare workstation to Yosemite. If I need to I will just clone my current VMWare image and run Mavericks / Yosemite in tandem. I would much prefer Mavericks > Yosemite...
This letter seems like a blanket that Sony's lawyers are laying out across @BikiniRobotArmy and pinning Twitter with a wall of federal and state law violation claims. Does anyone have information on what material @BikiniRobotArmy actually "published" ??? Did he upload the 26GB Sony dump into a Tweet? Did he upload a picture he found on Google Images? Did he retweet Greenwald?
Does it really? After reading 30 minutes of a PDF I knock out! :P
Yeah... this isn't new at all... it's a concept design, it doesn't actually function. Last time I saw this it was blown out of proportion in /r/futurology and people had to damage control to explain to people it wasn't actually science...
ooh thought this would happen. driverdan called it, reference: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=8777811
I hate all the fluff in this article.
TL;DR: Ballistic Capture aka "Low-energy transfer" is being rekindled by NASA, Boeing, Belbruno, Topputo and colleagues. Fly the spacecraft ahead of Mars in formation of the planets orbit relative to the sun allowing gravity to gradually slow the spacecraft down. This saves on fuel/weight for entering orbit at high velocity.
paywall?
Can they make a model wear the grips pick up your heart rate? PLEASE!?!? This would be the coolest most insanely awesome mod I'd to to my bike! v2 v2!
I'd like to add that in my specific area of the United States, Washington State, we've seen a huge move from international buyers swooping in on investment properties that became available on the market post-2008. There's a big move on Chinese and Canadian investors moving in on foreclosures, low interest rates, and honest to god: cold-hard-cash buyouts (it's extremely rare but in my market it's happened a few times). I'm in my mid-twenties and I feel like my significant other and I have to both be working full-time jobs at $20+ an hour to afford a 3 bedroom house anywhere near a reasonable commute from work. We also don't want to be stuck with the burden of upkeep maintenance, property tax, and unpredictable economy. Back on the topic of marriage; we're still iffy on the idea based off of fear that if our marriage went south we couldn't imagine dealing with the divorce; both psychological and financially speaking... However, our financial situation is a bit different in terms of debt and interest rates. We are both afraid of being to far sunken in debt.
Really? From my perspective people can't afford marriage, a kid, house, cars, and ultimately a divorce. Man it would be nice to just have $3k for a wedding ring, I could pay off a fraction of my debt! Oh! Wedding reception costs? Fuck that, I need to finance a good car that gets excellent mpg! OH, child support laws? Yeah I had an older brother that had his wallet raped for 14 years of his life. He's now looking at houses, hopefully his current wife doesn't divorce him with the kids they have. :P
I disagree with junto, game theory; the probability of it happening is feasible. What's not to say it hasn't happened before?
yes.
Why doesn't MPAA take the millions of dollars they poor into anti-piracy and give us all a Netflix of movies? Oh wait, AMC and Regal Cinema wouldn't like that.
BeamSyncDropper v2
OP does this plugin also monitor brute forcers that attempts that try to pass credentials through POST strings? I see this shit often... annoying..
Smart phones are becoming the ultimate demise of the internet. People want instant gratification and don't do their research on what they read and automatically assume the click bait they fell for to be true... Perhaps they should introduce a PageRank system into their EdgeRank algo to keep the click bait spammers at bay? Boom Google ded.
