Fellow PC builder here - Noctua fans are good but aren’t the only option. My Arctic fans are whisper silent and cost a third of the price of equivalent Noctua fans.
Once you realize that Wayland is essentially a GNOME project, it will all make sense. Take for example how windows have to draw their own decorations. That's a GNOME-ism.
If Wayland is the future of the Linux desktop, it would seem that there will be one true reference compositor (GNOME's Mutter) with a number of other projects struggling to adapt to the various gaps left by Wayland's incompleteness.
For example, screen sharing on Zoom works with GNOME Wayland but not the other compositors because it targets a GNOME API. If the Linux desktop starts to fracture, what's the incentive to bring support to your less common WM/compositor?
Engrave it on a bullet and use the bullet to murder someone famous. When arrested, eat a poisonous pill with the same inscription written on the pill holder. Historians will take note.
It's not so simple. Circumcision in neonate males is a medical prophylactic. The evidence for harm is weak as well.

I definitely think that the Internet Archive serves a valuable purpose. However, they will not see any money from me until they crack down on all of the porn hosted on their site.
Back in 2014, I built some very flashy interfaces using Polymer components just for fun. Fast forward to 2021, and these pages are completely broken. They don't even display the text that I wrote.
I'm guessing that the depreciation of HTML imports is why they don't work anymore.
Anyone else lose work because they were forced to restart Firefox?
Calling it now: Ubuntu is working on a Fuchsia distro.
I've found the latency of Konsole to be phenomenally low. I can definitely tell the difference between Konsole and GTK-based terminals, but I can't really tell the difference between the latency of Konsole and XTerm.

If DNS over HTTPS becomes standard, and Manifest V3 lands in Chromium-based browsers, Safari, and Firefox, how are we supposed to block ads?
Given that this is an emulator, would there be a way to port this to Android?
A few years from now, it is plausible that some developers won't bother with Catalyst and will release ARM-only apps.
Also, Apple has announced that iOS/iPad apps will run on ARM-based Macs without any developer intervention.
Buying an Intel-based Mac now means missing out on forwards compatibility.
Perhaps if they are aiming for the mainstream they should add some creature comforts like window buttons for minimizing and maximizing.
As current user of a Moto E5 Play, this is the first iPhone that I've been tempted to purchase. It delivers a lot of value at a reasonable price. As penny-pinching consumer, I've started thinking about device longevity. This phone will certainly be supported longer than any Android. However, my current phone still works, even if the camera is bad and it can be quite slow at times. I can't justify purchasing a new device, especially one that was probably constructed with unethical labor.
I can honestly see myself using this program to take general notes. It's light enough, and outputs in HTML (which, unlike markdown, can be displayed correctly on any computer that has a browser).
Is this the best way to create a chatbot with my personality? I feel like I would want to fine tune some things so it is giving real responses about my preferences, hobbies, etc.
My use case is preserving my personality for loved ones after I die.
