Oh please, I didn't add Hacker News to my feed reader to get articles from Zen Habits.

It reminded me of a conversation I had a few months ago:

Buddy: I did bungee jumping last summer, did you know?

Me: "umm... all right?"

...

uncomfortable silence

Faking enthusiasm is something I find very difficult to do, but I guess I should at least start trying.

Also, how to stop assuming that other people are not sincere when they show interest to me?

Not all geeks are shy (even though the author seems to think so). Still, these tips can be useful for everybody who wants to improve his/her networking skills.

Do you read? 18 years ago

Not really. Not proud of it, but I just don't see that much value in reading. It seems like a waste of time to me. I'd rather use that time to get more done.

I might start reading about web design and related topics, since that's what I do and I could probably learn a lot from this kind of books, but honestly I'm not interested in reading fiction at all.

Maybe it because of all those boring books I was forced to read as a kid at school.

I suffer from delayed sleep phase syndrome, which means I usually get around 3-5 hours of sleep while I need at least 8 to function properly. And I often fail to get up at a desired time.

Too bad there is no quick remedy for this.

You might want to try Comindwork, which we currently use at our startup. It's not that it's perfect, but it has all the important functionality and looks pretty decent. You can register a free account for testing purposes (1 project, unlimited users, 100mb storage).
