I really don't think some random guy wants to weaken ssh just to extract some petty ransomware cash from a couple targets.
Which is why there's probably nothing remotely interesting in them logs.

It's quite fun. Start here: https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nostr
Shouldn't take too long to run out of "silly" questions before you get to the right ones, as long as the interest is there and it's genuine. Now how do you foster sincere curiosity is a better question :)
Maybe that's a good thing?
I'm trying to dispel the myth that all good dotcoms are already taken and/or unaffordable with https://zlipa.com
It's passive income in the sense that I add new brands in the weekend and mostly doing this for fun.

Meanwhile, accepting Bitcoin Lightning Network payments is free of charge. Can't wait for more adoption.
Just the transaction costs alone make it infeasible to use Bitcoin to order pizza.
Blatantly false. Transacting on the Lightning Network (Bitcoin L2) costs next to nothing and the settlement is final and immediate.
Screw pizza, top-of-mind, you can pay a fraction of a cent's worth for an API call with Bitcoin (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=28459713)...
or pay 66 satoshis (~$0.03) / hour for a VPS instance (https://www.bitclouds.sh)...
or buy gift cards for any amount (https://www.bitrefill.com/buy/)...
or tip anyone as little as 1 satoshi (~$0.00046) (here's 5 cents worth https://ln.cash/tFVDMpUMRQPYwyj9DZHMqg)...
or hell, if you're feeling like pizza, DM me on Twitter and I'll get you one, paid for in Bitcoin (https://ln.pizza).
Selling 1 or 2 USD billions worth of Bitcoin each day, right.
Are you personally not satisfied with LN's level of privacy? If you're not, mind explaining why?
Don't know, perhaps decentralization?
*anonymity
Bitcoin's Lightning Network is private enough, thank you very much.
Running a T-account in Excel is even more energy-efficient.
It definitely would, if it was true.
Market cap is a useless metric. All altcoins without exception are a leveraged way to play Bitcoin.
What are you talking about? Bitcoin's daily trading volume is well into billions of dollars.
Transactions on Bitcoin's layer 2 (the Lightning Network) are extremely private and there's no way to blacklist anything.
Same thing, tried dipping my toes a couple of years ago, payments would often fail, gui inexistent, etc. But we've come a long way since then.
For starters, download bluewallet and get some free sats to play around with:
https://fixedfloat.com/lightning-faucet
Quite a rabbit hole you're falling into. And no, there's no public ledger.
Why would anyone look beyond Bitcoin defeats me
Bitcoin is perfectly fungible, if you know what you're doing. Even beyond this, there are no "accounts" or "addresses" on the Lightning Network - its privacy is superb.
Nobody uses side-chains...
I use LN every day. Also, have you heard the El Salvador news?
This is just active, malicious disinformation - why are you doing this?
LN blows away legacy payment rails by many orders of magnitude - you can do hundreds of millions of transactions per second, today.
This is wrong. Lightning Network transactions are 100% non-custodial.
A shame really, they could've supported it natively and all it would have taken is a few dev-hours.
To clarify, that's ln.cash-es service fee. A 50 sat micro-transaction between two decently connected nodes would be completely free of charge.
There's plenty Zero Base Fee nodes (mine included) that make that possible: https://lnrouter.app/graph/zero-base-fee
I'm a Bitcoiner and am tipping sats (1 sat = 0.00000001 BTC or $0.00049) left and right.
Here's 50 sats https://ln.cash/ogFZFxSbJCjuCDZQ3L2rR6

I have been in your shoes and I honesty feel your pain.
I'm trying [0] to fix that and hopefully be a part of the solution. Renewal price increases won't magically prevent people from squatting, so that's pure milking by the VeriSign monopoly.
