in order to sign up you have to provide credit card details, so you automatically have a payment method attached to your account

I have a similar experience. Recently my account got suspended for no reason. I have been logging in and reading up on the tutorials / documentation to see how to use Oracle Cloud and I hadn't even started using any of the free resources yet, but my recently created account got suspended nonetheless. Unless my account was hacked (which I would like to be notified of) I cannot have violated any ToS. I got the same non-response when I asked why my account was removed.

To me it looks like Oracle isn't being honest about their "always free" tier and they just shut down non-paying accounts to cut costs if they don't foresee them converting into paying customers any time soon. If it were a bug / mistake, then I would have expected better support (restoring the account or providing a new account if that's not possible), but being ghosted by a big corporation when you know for a fact that you did nothing wrong is pretty frustrating.

I have not had such a bad experience with any cloud company ever. I sincerely hope Oracle changes, but as it stands I will never spend a dime with Oracle and I will dissuade anyone from using their services, because of how unreliable they have demonstrated themselves to be.

Dropping testosterone levels and decreasing sperm quality are not a "right wing fear", but a scientific fact, and that should concern everyone: right and left wing, men and women.

Also, to look at this 1 compound in isolation and downplay the significance of it, without considering the cumulative and synergistic effects of all the other xeno estrogens we are exposed to on a daily basis is irresponsible.

He is clearly responding to people who have a misunderstanding of what open source is, so you cannot blame him for correcting the wrong understanding as if he is the one who defined open source to include these additional expectations that go beyond the license. He is merely pointing out how the way he runs his project is also in accordance with the license.

The funny thing is, carbs get blamed for the problems caused by saturated fat (lsuch as impaired insulin sensitivity, just see how bad the insulin sensitivity of those doing keto gets which should be impossible if carbs were to blame). Of course not all carbs are created equal, but if you stick with whole foods, you cannot go wrong.

He was replying to the strawman about what you suggested he should do if he is pro life. He explained why you argument fails by showing how it would fail if you applied your logic to your own position.

I think the OP meant that friend support you in overcoming your limitations. They support you where you are weak, not they perpetuate and grow your weaknesses.

This is not quite what I'm looking for. It needs to be CLI based so it can work with local markdown files in a way that can be easily automated. Also this website isn't tailored for visualizing a database schema, so to repurpose it for that use case requires significant effort. Looking at DBeaver's ER Diagram should like the OP in this response thread suggested should give you a good idea of how I want things to look.

I may have found what I'm looking for from a different top level answer though. Thanks for your contribution.

ALA (short chain omega 3) is very important to get. It is converted to DHA/EPA, but the conversion efficiency depends on the ratio between your omega 6 and omega 3 intake. The same enzyme that converts ALA to DHA converts omega 6 to the inflamatory arachidonic acid. Since omega 6 is so abundant in most oil rich foods, you have to be mindful of how much you ingest relative to ALA omega 3, which is harder to come by. Hence the algea oil is important too, because it contians pre-formed DHA/EPA

Just to give some bacground info.

There is not much to question about TMAO being bad. Fish having a high Omega 3 content which is protective against atherosclerosis may explain why TMAO from fish consumption is not as problematic as that from consumption of other meats. Before we start reconsidering if TMAO is bad, it's far less speculative to consider whether tmao's bad effects that are known have been offset by positive effects of omega 3 which are also known.

That would have to be grass fed for best results. it's the ALA (short chain omega 3) in the greens that get converted to DHA/EPA so grain fed won't have a lot of omega 3. You can observe this difference in the butter from grass fed versus grain fed: thd grass fed derived butter melts at lower temperatures because of the higher omega 3.

However you can also take algea or algea derived omega 3 supplements, i think the species is called nannochloropsis gaditana, and it has vegan omega 3, so probably causes no issues with fish allergies.

Very interesting! Now would it have the same effect in humans? Would be interesting.

I see no reason to downvote this... weren't LGBTQ people arguing for the longest time that there is a biological causation? They may have finally found it, though it is not genetic like they hoped for. Either way it is interesting.

Unfortunately it's not all too uncommon these days to simply assume (project?) bigotry and treat innocent people like crap over that assumption.

A surprisingly vacuous quote that continues the conservative/right-wing as pejorative quote while obfuscating the real problem. The real problem is elitism and corruption.

Compare the treatment of Donald Trump versus Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden. Why is the conservative in the out group and the liberal in the in group?

Jesus. It is easy to dismiss religion as pre-scientific superstition or opiate for the people, but hear me out for a second.

I find that Jesus gets two things fundamentally right:

- humanity's brokenness - the moral values that underpin human flourishing

It may seem counterintuitive, but recognizing humanity's brokenness as a whole and on an individual level is actually necessary to have hope. You can't fix a problem you don't see. Seeing the problem is not enough, though. You also need to avail yourself of a solution. Jesus is that solution. He has transformed the lives of people, but it is a deeply personal experience that you have to choose for yourself (if you want it).

I think humanity needs religion (without a religious worldview your cognitive framework is incomplete), and i think Christianity is the most rational, most plausibly effective, and most likely to be true religion we have.

Having said that, i'm not here to argue, though there are myriads of arguments to be had. This is just an invitation in response to a question.

To anyone reading this who has been burnt by Christians who may feel the need to vent their frustration: I am sorry for your negative experiences. There is no perfect system in this world. Even among so called humanitarian aid workers there are rapists who go to foreign lands and leave struggling females pregnant and alone. Yet we all recognize the tremendous good done by charities despite the despicable evil. Let's not throw out the baby with the bathwater.

This is artificial womb idea is evolutionary suicide.

Human reproduction would eventually cease to function without artificial wombs as selective pressure for natural reproductive fitness disappears, causing genetic drift to go unrestrained.

Should humanity ever go through a technological bottleneck (solar flare?) where artificial wombs are no longer available, then the population would decline rapidly as only those who can still reproduce naturally will be able to have offspring. The subsequent bottleneck in human capital will ensure that it will take ages for humanity to reach the same level of technological ability, if we ever will.
