This revolutionizes Bash's user experience.
The focus is security. Be disappointed in all the other free platforms that cannot provide adequate moderation or stability.
Do you happen to know a suitable alternative?
I've been looking for a good way to TTS longer PDFs and EPUBs into recordings so I may listen to them on the go. I'd like to take advantage of high quality TTS models but I'd prefer it to be one I may host myself.
Haven't found the right way yet, I'm considering: https://github.com/MycroftAI/mimic3
There is also: https://www.psc.edu/hpn-ssh-home/
HPN-SSH is a series of modifications to OpenSSH, the predominant implementation of the ssh protocol. It was originally developed to address performance issues when using ssh on high speed long distance networks (also known as Long Fat Networks: LFNs). By taking advantage of automatically optimized receive buffers HPN-SSH could improve performance dramatically on these paths. Later advances include; disabling encryption after authentication to transport non-sensitive bulk data, modifying the AES-CTR cipher to use multiple CPU cores, more detailed connection logging, and peak throughput values in the scp progress bar. More information can be found on HPN-SSH page on the PSC website.
Luddite is not synonym for technophobe. Sorry to interrupt, I believe it's an important distinction given Luddites' role in industrial society.
Emacs has Magit which is great.
That housewife remark is uncalled for.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Where do I go to for quality sunglasses?
It would be nice to have, I look for that when planning to acquire items I don't understand. Inference is good, certainty is better.
It wasn't so long ago there were local repairmen grandmas took things go fix.
They're not very difficult to replace.
Why not both?
GNU Emacs is starting to implement syntax highlighting properly for its system text editor What do you mean?
That needs money, not advertising.
Why?
The majority of people seem to have immediate -scoped concerns I suppose.
Well, like you write, aggregated data is already being used to influence populations which makes it immediate. An hypothetical hacker is not.
Most of the really scary big data possibilities seems more like political issues than data issues, the data is just something they could use to do the things people are worried about.
I don't follow. Not giving away the data removes the need for politics. Crime is illegal nevertheless it exists because it is possible to commit.
It's not great, but it's competing for mind share with a lot of other possibile horrors people are afraid of and people are rather fatigued.
Not everyone shares the same concerns and nobody likes problems, that doesn't' mean they should be accepted.
The more subtle stuff they're already doing seems like it would be a problem with even the most basic data.
All the more reason not to give them more. The personalized hate content is a direct consequence of big data aggregation.
All in all, seems like more of an issue than a possible compromise of a FOSS project.
It's not ironic, it's concern over the influence big tech yields over society with said data, unlike your concerns which are scoped on you and immediate.
It's possible to disable it now in the app settings as the last message in the issue states. The app does enable it and telemetry by default without any warning which I think is wrong.
Thank you!
Thank you.
These are things to remember so you can decide and live that. Putting things in perspective, highilighting what you shouldn't take for granted. If those sentences are grim then those are things you value.
What's the plan to stay injury-free? I don't know any bodybuilders.
A lot of the limitations are probably just Mozzilla hating anything that could be used for tracking, and not trusting users to manage permissions.
Don't denigrate Mozilla for protecting users. There are a lot of privacy issues that can't be addressed by permissions models, Android serves as an example of that. Enumeration is not effective.
If Mozilla are standing in the way of invasive webpages, more power to them.
GrapheneOS has had 4G only mode for a while, not sure about the rest. I wouldn't be surprised if there'd been some communication on their end.
I wouldn't say malice but some of their practices are hostile.
