Thought the same exact thing. For those curious, 4:3 intermittent fasting is where you eat normal for 4 days and restrict calories to 80% of TDEE for 3 days (if I understood it correctly). I was trying to make sense of it with how I typically perceive IF, like 16/8 etc.

It does not, we have to use cmd+tab :(
I don't think that remotely matters to their success. If it does, Exa uses a font in their blog that looks pretty close to Perplexity's choice.
React is fine. It can be abused just like anything else. This post brings nothing to the table.
Curious why a browser extension and not a site like https://hckrnews.com/?
Same boat, it sits on a shelf doing nothing. Can't find compute modules anywhere.
I'm using DDG exclusively, for a few months now. Trying to get away from Google. I still find myself going back now and then though because the DDG results can be so bad compared to Google. I plan on continuing to use it primarily, it's just super annoying to struggle to find something and then go search Google and find it instantly.
Great work!
I mean that applies to anyone in this thread more than me specifically. I'm not saying Wealthfront is the best option, just that I've been fine with it as someone who knows nothing about investing and didn't want to keep throwing money into a savings account. And if we're being picky about time, I'm closer to 4 years in Wealthfront and was up 50% all time a few weeks ago. Still not the best, but better than savings.
Just going to move it all to $DOGE now anyways.
Interesting, I started in 2017 and am up 40.58% all time today.
I think what you're looking for is nested routes _and_ layouts. It's possible in Next but IMO it's not the prettiest.

Framework on top of a framework using a UI library, but close enough.
That was actually part of it for me as well. Just running what you need in i3 is super productive. Windows is for gaming, with the occasional quick SSH to get something done (mintty though, Windows Terminal is slower for me).
For sure. For Adobe products I would be all Windows/Mac.
Very good points! Rebooting is so fast these days it isn't an issue, but I also only use Windows for gaming so I'm not rebooting a ton (twice a day at most). As far as Linux gaming has come it's still not there yet.
Incompatible hardware/software are definitely a real problem that probably affect a large enough percentage of people unfortunately.
Curious, what does Windows bring to the table that someone would prefer it over just Linux? I did the whole development with WSL2 thing for a bit, and it sort of worked OK, but then I setup dual boot and it's so much nicer to have a minimal WM / lighter OS / Windows out of the way.
That's the reason to choose PWA over other web technologies, not native.
I agree with both of you actually, app is great but I don't don't like Material when I see it usually unless it's skinned well enough to not instantly tell it's Material. Something about that default theme...
I'm similar, but with vimwiki. <leader>-w-<leader>-w will open an entry for today's date, so for me ~/vimwiki/diary/2020-02-08.md. `<leader>-w i` will show a list of all entries. Pretty convenient stuff. I have mine start with a template as well, with a few common headers.
An incredible contribution to the topic.
This is an impressive level of negativity.
Good to see more variety to things like Font Awesome and Feather, nice work!
Comparing to phpBB doesn't make sense. It isn't incredibly unique, but maybe reading this will help a little? https://slack.com/enterprise
Mostly this, though he does call people out on things that he thinks are wrong. The Adam Conover episode comes to mind. It's a good balance though.
Yep, and the problem with that in my experience is it's enough rope for companies to hang themselves with. I've seen multiple cases of using Salesforce for things/applications for things that belong outside of it. I'm only a little sour about it :D
Supporting that for people who want it is one thing, living in a world where we act like there is no gender is another. A lot of us enjoy being and/or identifying as male/female.

Fortnite is 3rd-person though, maybe you meant shooters in general?
I'm incredibly disappointed that this isn't related to tacos or robots, more importantly robots making tacos.
Example of a properly done Swing app? Not trolling, genuinely curious to see what that looks like (code + result). I also assumed it was because they perform terribly and look non-native.
