I noticed that "a basic sofa" involves some placing some floating bricks if built in the order of the animation. It hints at the way this model generates the designs. The automated assembly of generated LEGO structures using robots would have serious trouble creating these designs I reckon.

Besides a fun read, the book is more a critique of the philosophical notion of Optimism, i.e. the idea that we are living in the optimal "timeline". Even if this reality is shit, Optimism states it's still better than all others that could possibly be.

Children need to be socialized, and it's fairly unpleasant for them. This would still be needed regardless of how we distribute money. You're not being "a proper citizen" to receive your paycheck, you're being one because you've been brainwashed from an early age to think that you should be.

In your case, just substitute "feeling gratitude for positive things in your life" with "consciously acknowledge positive things in your life".

I guess it pays to be temperamentful and "do nothing" if the pool of money you get to play with is huge to begin with. If you have limited funds to invest with, the temptation to take risk to make a significant profit looms large.

There are arguments to be made that the brain is essentially a prediction engine, constantly making predictions about what is going to happen next based on previous data. This you could call statistical analysis.
