Car rental price comparision website shows EURO currency in quotes , then the car renter says only USD in cash and they convert by their own exchange - you overpay.

You have different price on reservation and different at the counter when you pick up the car key. At the time of picking up you already paid 10% fee online, so its not worth to cancel.

I think, first principle is to build something that people want.

If you build this way, I feel more comfortable than building something fast, that at the end has close to zero usage.

2 - 7 eng dev teams is a small one. It means, just put people on top of things and things should develop faster than in a an average team in any corporation.

This approach/mindset might not work in corporations etc. since they want to have "reports"

Because it discourage discussion against the "crowd wisdom" of HN.

Had a lot of karma collected, then a comment with different opinion against point of view of HN wasted it.

It may be a feature, not a bug because it reinforcing the network of same minded people here, and dicourages different opinions.

As Peter Thiel tells: "Tell me something that's true, that almost nobody agrees with you on."

You won't find this on HN because signal to noise ratio is low in such discussions and you will get downvoted.

Maybe there should be option to sort from most downvoted on the top to fix in some part this issue?

The telephone, the internet, and crypto share one thing in common. Each technology improves on the next in terms of its ability to facilitate fraud. As such, I was initially a crypto skeptic, but after studying some of the more interesting crypto projects, I have come to realization world must evolve

In the past all my comments got downvoted and my karma got destroyed on this forum because of talking on crypto. Regarding crypto as a scammers tool I will just leave it here because it doesnt make sense to talk in this HN crowd about it as you get downvotes by default from sceptics:

Boostrap with service company, and build product on a side.

This works since 2000s - check success stories of some known companies and you will find this path in many stories.

I would say, thanks to VC money it is easier to get sevice jobs aside.

I'm talking about mechanism -> "I'm sure this mechanism will be used, improved over the next years and more "money" will go to "token holders" instead of to social platforms like FB."

I'm not talking about specific game.

Any game studio has to have a big budget to get out of the door in the web2.

It will improve over time, and we will get different favours over time.

Not really, with affiliate programmes you need to share ref links. Ref links are spam in various places + you won't be able to share a ref link in a spoken language etc. with people who you don't have direct line like phone number etc.

... and ref programs were super popular 10-20 years ago, now they rather have a bad rap
