OP here - agreed. I was rarely posting anyways. I'm personally replacing it with reading even more than A/SIDE. There are just some times I want to share something with friends and family and not fumble with iMessage.

Instagram quietly removed E2E end encryption from DMs last week. Wrote this for people who've been looking for a reason to leave.

You're right - it will serve more as a learning tool. The production of knowledge by the individual (currently just me!) is not a project that will happen until at least year 4, so I'm basically punting that and assuming I'll figure out the best approach by then. I am absolutely open to the realization that is should not be called a PhD, but I will say that I do have some topics in mind that I want to pursue that I think are novel. I suspect I'll bring on some form of non-AI by then if I continue down this path. Great feedback thank you.

I happen to know a lot of people that would love to get rid of stuff, but don't wanna go through the work of creating listings, even for Facebook Marketplace.

This is a peer-to-peer marketplace where you just snap the pics and AI does the rest... title, description, category, even tags, and even a suggested price. And you can adjust the personality of the listing.

Also, it continually updates your listings based on real-time trends to ensure they stand out and attract buyers.

With features like customizable listing styles, real-time chat with buyers, and dynamic trend tracking, Shopseen takes the hassle out of selling.

Pinterest is not exactly a "minimal Facebook integration". It is integrated with Timeline. As such, all your activity (pins, follows) are sent to Facebook for display in news feeds, and for Facebook's ad algorithms. But Nik's point is still very valid - less time spent on Facebook is less time spent looking at Facebook ads, and stream posts of brands you are following. They will have to do something to address this, maybe purchase the likes of Pinterest, or require ads on Connect sites, or something more thoughtful and strategic.

1. Thanks for pointing out elev.at - nice service. I hadn't seen that. Nice that it makes an API out of stuff that's already on the web. 2. Feedback link should not cover anything if your screen width is >~960px. Anyone else having a problem? 3. Wonder if '/' is confusing other people. I'll ask around... 4. Eek.. that's what happens when you grab a name and use it. I'm not married to it but I'll have to keep it at least for this competition. 5. Yep right now the upload limit is 100k so I can monitor and manage the load in the early days but that is going to change soon.
