Has anyone tried sqwiggle.com, we tried it, but we get the same thing from impromptu google hangouts for free. A truely native sqwiggle app that integrates more into what we are doing makes sense.

If you are talking about storing things like files etc then you could have a look at Amazon S3. If you are referring to user records etc, then use a good MVC framework (with ORM as makerops suggested).

You should check out some co-working spaces on friday afternoons, they generally chill out and have a few drinks.

Also go to a few meetup groups, but you have to get in quick, meetups fill quickly.

You should check if the software is listed on the bugcrowd bug bounty list. Its a list of websites and software which accept responsible disclosure of security issues.

The questions will always be based on 4 key topics - Promptness - Accuracy - Partnership - Helpfulness

We are currently providing industry specific wording of the questions and will be letting users taylor the wording if they wish.

We are trying to capture a customer's satisfaction within a few key areas an also overall. This is why customers are only surveyed every 3 months. We find this gets a much better idea of how happy they are with the service.

There are other tools for capturing feedback immediately after signup or a support incident, which would help identify signup or sales issues. This is an area we may look into in the future but for the moment the focus is on measuring change in their individual opinion over time. This lets us identity customers that still rate us well, but their opinion has dropped over time. (Or people who are rising advocates etc)

We are using gauge.js with an extra bit of custom javascript, hopefully we will get a chance to turn this into a jquery plugin soon.

A designer could easily spend a few days of not weeks doing concepts and tweaking your design. You could look for a designer to join yourself as a co-founder. I'm sure there will be more than just a logo they'd provide great input into. "Build it with Me" (http://www.builditwith.me) is a great place to find designers with or without ideas for projects.

The language probably won't matter so much. I think you will have just as big a job in business development, design and marketing.

So why not look for a technical cofounder who is quite competent in either python or ruby. Then you can have them do the bulk of the coding and possibly oversee some development by other freelancer/s. Head to a ruby or python meetup, ask if you can jump up for 2 minutes and introduce yourself. There will probably be cofounder speed dating type events in your local area as well.

To pipe up about languages and frameworks, make sure when you build that you are considering Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) so when the time comes you are able to break off the pieces that experience higher load. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Service-oriented_architecture
