FunnelStory builds a queryable context graph over enterprise data — the infrastructure layer that lets AI agents reason over live customer intelligence. We've built a federated query engine purpose-built for agents, ML models from scratch in Go (health scoring, cohort expansion, process mining, Markov chains, Genetic Pareto optimization), and on-prem deployment infrastructure for enterprise customers. All on a deterministically tested backend.

We need engineers who go deep. The kind who read academic papers to build something novel, then hunt down a performance bottleneck five layers deep in the stack. Go is preferred but not required. Strong math and systems engineering background is a plus. What's required: ability to solve hard problems, use AI tooling to add real value (not slop), and drive work forward independently.

We use mattn's go-sqlite3 in our SaaS product. It's not ideal from a toolchain perspective (i.e. cross compiling becomes a little annoying, especially with multi-arch Docker images) but once you get across that hurdle, we haven't run into any major problems with cgo.

Depends on who clicks the button. It could be a junior person doing some research for their team, in which case they are not the decision maker nor the one with the budget/writing the check.

Yeah. In many cases I've had to use CTEs like this in BI tools. When you're experimenting with datasets for dashboards it's much faster to work with CTEs than to try to make production DB changes.

I'm aware. If they discontinue it then I'll just stick to Kindle books. That's all I'm expecting from this device anyway. For everything else I have an iPad Pro.

This is what I do with my base model Kindle. I have its email address saved as a contact so it is super easy to send it ePubs (or PDFs!) from my phone.

Wouldn't the target audience for these resources be those who are not already decent data engineers?

Hell, my blog has reached top-10 a handful of times and I've never seen these "millions of views."

Yeah, my posts have been on the front page a couple of times and it's nowhere near millions of views.

I like using an espresso machine. I started learning latte art in 2020 so I try to make lattes as often as I can.

I worked on a SNMP Go package many years ago [0] and it was really fun learning about ASN.1 and figuring out how to write encoders and decoders for various types.
