Depends on how literally you want to take it. Lighthouses have definitely been photographed before. Photos depicting the man vs wild nature archetype too.

This handbook assumes that JS execution really is your bottleneck and not network, DOM, what not. I doubt this is the case in the majority of applications, so following these tips might be even counterproductive as they sometimes come at the cost of readability.
I am just happy to see that the API has "trading" as a concept, looking forward to that feature.
Overall it's sad that most game mechanics of the original games didn't make it into Pokemon Go. Does anyone know how much time they had to implement it?

Github for Mac is quite good already for commiting and pull-requesting. I could stop using my browser (for Github, at least) if they put issue management (open, close, view, comments) in there too. Would be awesome and a more unified experience.
An alternative to this is symdiff http://symdiff.github.io/ (Disclaimer: I'm the author).
The auto-remove part you would have to code yourself though.
The major reason for me to occasionally shoot film is that I find the haptic and usability of the cameras way better than current digital models. Depends on how much you're comfortable to spend though.

Nice work, I did pretty much the same thing about one and a half years back [1]. Didn't know it's still running [2], haha. I built it because I liked Favematic [3], but thought it didn't have enough "radio" like functionality.
I like your visual design better though, it's way cleaner. Also the track is better presented, but then again there were no pictures for tracks when I started.
Edit: Oh and btw I also had no clue how to describe what it does succinctly ;)

Maybe I misunderstand the issue, but... Well, everything is responsive at 100% width, right?
What bothers me personally the most is aligning the comments link right. This works well on almost square browser windows, as in the mockup, but considering that hackers may (probably?) have huge screens at work... That's too far away from the other links. Fitt's law etc.
Some thoughts:
* Showing colors of jerseys is not necessarily new, ARD and ZDF in Germany are doing this for a long time now.
* I like the round clock BUT! Why are the seconds below minutes? It's confusing. Why does the red bar representing stoppage time grow while the stoppage time itself shrinks (it's a countdown)? Does not work well together imo. What do you display when the game lasts longer than stoppage time? -00:56? And why take the screen estate of seconds for stoppage time? They aren't gone or anything. And I get the intention of "cutting" the clock in half for representing half times, but since the shape is primarily a clock I was wondering why the 30 minute mark is important. I'd cut the clock in quarters and use three of them to display the game's progress (45 min - one half).
* How does this work on low-res TVs? They are still out there and need to be considered.
* Did they explain their icons? What's e.g. the soccer field icon supposed to tell me?
As a whole it doesn't seem to be thought through, sadly.
