when you have ADHD these types of rules are really helpful. some people might find them weird and say "just change your schedule, do it later, whatever", but I know if I postpone it I'll forget it or screw up doing some other chore or a "previously allocated free-time".

"And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, 'O Lord, bless this Thy hand grenade that, with it, Thou mayest blow Thine enemies to tiny bits in Thy mercy.' And the Lord did grin, and the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths and carp and anchovies and orangutans and breakfast cereals and fruit bats and..."

How can those numbers be 'out of place'? Just last month the state of São Paulo started to remove assassinations by the police from the official murder stats [1] to make it look like things are getting better.

Also:

"Between January and November in 2014, 816 people were murdered by military police officers in the state of São Paulo." - and it did not reduce crime [2]

This reminds me of Penis Landscape [1], a painting of his that was used by the Dead Kennedys in the album Frankenchrist [2]. Jello Biafra was trialed for distributing harmful material to minors, but was not convicted. He even went to Oprah [3] to talk about it and confront Tipper Gore about censorship and the PMRC.

Well, I'm quite happy using Sprint.ly (https://sprint.ly) to build our product. I think what makes it a good choice for software development are the things it does not have, like custom statuses, custom item types, time tracking. Also, it has sane defaults.

Their story format (As a ... I want ... so that ....) can be weird at first if you are not used to it, but it really helps focusing on the real benefits of a feature and segmenting your customers.

Yes, this is the email I got from them on October 25th:

Hi, Thanks for supporting Filepicker. We recently changed our pricing plans, and wanted to let you know directly.

Today, we support over 30,000 developers and serve over 200 million files per month. As we grow, we continue to invest in our infrastructure & engineering so that we can continue to deliver a superior experience. Therefore we are changing the pricing plans.

Changes: We are reducing the free tier to 500 file uploads per month & the max file size is revised to 20MB. Image conversion, uploading files directly to S3, analytics, adding logo & custom CSS are no longer offered on the free plan. The paid plans start at $ 19/month for the Starter Plan and are available at: https://www.inkfilepicker.com/pricing/

What does it mean for your account: We are grateful for your support over the last year. As an early supporter of the product, we are offering you an opportunity to upgrade to the Enhanced Start plan for just $9/month, 50% off the Start Plan. And, the Enhanced Start plan gives you more benefits than the Start plan: • Up to 5000 files uploaded per month • Max file size of 100 MB • Up to 150000 files converted per month • Upload files directly into your Amazon S3 bucket • Analytics into how your users are uploading files • Add your logo and custom CSS to the dialog

Further, we are offering you a 30-day window to upgrade (till Nov 25th). If you decide not to upgrade, at the end of 30 days, we will work with you to migrate you to the regular Start plan.
