Med schools are competitive, he was probably pre-med, how realistic was it for him to get in med school with F in Principles of Modern Chemistry?

I did not try argue that brothers bear zero responsibility, au contraire. It was a complex mix of external and internal circumstances and influences that resulted in tragedy. Just like some people are more prone to alcoholism, others are prone to extreme violence when they find themselves cornered. The question is could we at least argue that both human agency and environmental influences can be considered equally important?

Also the mentality, "My life is good, I do not care about you, you are on your own, loser" is another problem I see. People barricade themselves in gated communities and pretend everything is peachy around them failing to see interconnectedness. Then when crap hits the fan everyone is like very surprised why it happened.

There he was a member of several Islamic groups (not exactly extremist ones, just in general Islam oriented). He also posted few comments and even a joke that sort of indicated how Chechens have been treated, the joke goes like this: "The Question: Chechen, Ingush and Dagestani are in the car, who is driving the car? The Answer: police".

What I think happened is that the older brother could not adjust quite well, and had some beef with his relatives as they were not too close. So these two brothers were sort of marinating in their own insanity. The older one could not fit in, probably felt like a failure and was a good candidate for a brainwash. The younger was another good candidate, their parents are still in Dagestan, both brothers lived alone.

I think it is a very complicated case and I think they acted alone, because they lost it alone at some point. Left to themselves they were easy prey to propaganda machine. I personally think it is extremely sad case for every single person involved including victims, their families, bombers and their families. The only winners are those who are spreading hate and brainwashing vulnerable people at the lowest point of their lives.

I only have the idea, because bitcpoin shows us what was not foreseen in its design. Bitcoin is indeed a "vehicle for speculators", look what is going on with it now. The average Joes and grandmas Sallies are cut off completely, they cannot afford bitcoin at 100 bucks a piece or even a Jally, and can't compete with fat cats that are currently summoning all bitcoins and mining related things in just few hands.

I disagree. Greed and sustainability cannot exist simultaneously. Greed will only lead to the disaster, infinite growth in the world of finite resources will lead to disaster. Greed even hampers progress. Example, the current trend is towards applied research in nearly all fields because greedy corporations need practical results as fast as possible. The basic research (the vehicle for discovery) is practically abandoned. This alone hampers development. And I do not even go to what greed based society does to creativity.
