Traveling used to be free. You could walk, run or swim anywhere you wanted. Now these cars and airplanes are ruining travel, they are expensive and hard to maintain. You have to buy tickets from vendors and the experience is completely different than walking.

We built xltrail[0] (cloud and self-hosted SaaS) that lets you see the diffs for sheets, VBA, and a couple other things. You put in your git repo and it just works. You can also have a manual versioning option where you upload new versions of the same file and you get the same result.
We also have the open source git extension Git XL[1] that lets you see VBA diffs locally.
Rocket League? The skill ceiling is super high but the ranking system works pretty well and in the lower ranks tactics and positioning is more important than mechanical abilities.

That's true. But for parent's objective of keeping their fitness and hopefully their strength, a couple of kettlebells are probably better that mountain biking, and it takes far less equipment and space than a proper rack, bar and plates.
Kettlebells are doing the trick for me, you can start with just one.
Having a queue means you have a distributed system. How do you handle network problems, errors/retries, back pressure? OTP has excellent idiomatic tools for all that and more.

I used the same solution for an address fuzzy search, it was very fast and efficient. Tries are great!
At the small prize of parallelism. And now that you are dealing with workers, task queues, etc. a native process + supervisor solution doesn't seem bad at all.

I feel sad for reading this, here in Argentina until December 2015 we had a similar state backed plan called Qunita. Now the new right-handed government cancelled the plan without delivering 60k boxes and a judge is trying to burn those arguing insecurity (but none of the 1000s of mothers who received them found any glitch in the boxes).
How do you know that none of the mothers had a problem with them? Are there any studies about this?
On the other hand there are three studies pointing that the box had problems and it was considered unsafe (sharp edges, structure fails with weights under 9kg). [0]
