People over 60+ accounts for the majority of people with hearing loss. Sadly this part of the population isn't always that tech savvy.

It should also be noted that a huge problem in countries in Europe where hearing aids are subsidized by the state is getting people to actually use their subscribed hearing aids. Usually the patients needs information and coaching to be motivated. With that in mind I think alot of over the counter hearing aids will just end up in a shelf somewhere if there isn't any good resource for encouragement and technical help.

At the moment there is no real reliable procedure to diagnos APD. It is the, we tried everything else but we can't see anything wrong with you type of diagnos.

It may be obvious but to clarify only one of your family members can be playing from your shared library at a given time.

The conclusion seems to be that in order for the NSA chief to answer any interesting questions they have to declassify information. Which the NSA chief believes is a good idea as long as it doesn't harm the american people. What pieces of information they should declassify and make available to the public will be discussed in the closed hearing.

Well it's still speculations. Some speculations can of course be plausible even if far fetched. And i do think there will be a outcry if the land with one of the highest income taxes in the world decides to hunt people down with data designed to catch terrorists and organised crime.

What should be noted is that before Sweden gave FRA authority to increase it's surveillance the swedish public was well awere of what was happening. There was a public debate, the adversaries would say it was only for the curtains, but the people still had a chance to rally up against it before the legislatures reached their decision. But the public majority didnt care that much.

That the Swedish IRS would be given access to FRA is still only speculation. I haven't seen any article saying that it is even something they are planning to do. It could happen, but I'm sure it will be a public outcry if it ever is proposed
