I tried to register in the Android app, but it doesn't work. I get an endless spinning progress bar after I press "register".

I just have one large play list where I add albums that I find and currently listens to. If you sort it by "Added" you can always go back (scroll) and see a time line of albums that you've enjoyed.

You have to manually import the tracks in both the client on your home computer and in the client on your phone. Spotify doesn't provide any upload / cloud functionality.

You can't really upload tracks, as in upload to the cloud. You can only import tracks into the client so that you don't need another media player to play them.

pip + requirements file + virtualenv (virtualenvwrapper) makes the setup of an development environment really easy. With virtualenvwrapper you can hook into different scripts, for example when you start/switch working on a project

The site is painfully slow. When I clicked on "See A Sample Page" it took around 20 s to load with over 200 requests. It loads 61 external javascripts and 16 stylesheets (combine and minify). When I tested the page in YSlow it got 54 / 100 performance score.

From what I understand he only had to re-implement the canvas calls in the game engine. "I of course had to make some changes to the engine, but the game source code is exactly the same as for the web version."

Spotify have change the way I consume music. It's a great example of creating a service that makes it easier then the "free" illegal way. That's why I'm a paying subscriber. Both because I want to support them but also because I don't like to be interrupted by annoying commercials.

One thing that I noticed in your inbox is the filter option, "Only show items from people I follow". Does that mean that you can send songs to other peoples inboxes that your are not friends with? Opportunity to spam music?
