Yeah. I found pictures of feet before I found their products.
I guess they assume visitors usually arrive at the home page rather than a blog post. A quick note/link in the blog post might be helpful for those of us stumbling around.

I was unlucky and it was extremely painful. It also resulted in a very minor permanent facial droop.
My tabs are a convenientish curated list. It is wasteful and I hate it. At worst (best?) I've taken to sending a tab to another device as a way of dismissing it for later.
I hope someone jumps on the language model hype and makes an extension that summarizes what I have read, seen, and done on the web. Perhaps with a choice screenshot or two.
I don't need a tree of pages, a spreadsheet, or a pie chart of time wasted on hn. I spent my time here on purpose, show me or tell me why. Remind me of the topics so I can close the tab and come back to it easily when needed.
Have a bunch of them that release at regular intervals and float up to the surface.

I think it's weird because the example they used of the birthday is trying too hard to be family-friendly and social.
The HoloLens had some great examples of highlighting where to hit a mechanism to make it work. I have no idea if it was any good in reality.
That doesn't work for Apple, at least not for advertising.
I think it would have been neat to have shown a sports person/dancer/musician looking through the eyes of their instructor to correct their posture, etc. Or at least show them reviewing the recording together.

"Ordinary" people seems like an important criteria here. The police still shoot people and raided the ABC not that long ago.
The risk is real and reasonable if one is willing to rationalise it as a hobby / learning / playing with hardware and a trivial amount of soldering.
In my case I wanted to play with sensors and the pico w. A pi with a sprinkling of c#, Nats, and influxdb connects, controls Ikea stuff, and reports all the things.
Micropython on the pico is not my favourite part of the process but it might have been faster for me than just writing in c.

It was pretty buggy when it came out with the release version of win95 and it didn't even have the ability to automatically search the web for things I wasn't looking for. We're just in a bad start menu decade at the moment.
Surely adding a shortcuts on the desktop obliviates the need to use it. All of my programs add one automatically so it's super easy.
Yes and no in my experience. The past year I have had some trouble but the Linux clients seem to be good again. Win11 is getting worse for me unfortunately.

It's high enough that I don't bother side loading my various, helpful to me, toy apps to my partner's phone.
The inconvenience is small but real.
Quite a collection and contains my first pc. It was hard to use before I could read.
Imho probably unlucky. At least on Windows it is way more stable than a few years ago.
Then again it can be hard to tell. E.g. The converse is true for me for LibreOffice which used to be fine but crashes within a minute or two every time.

The police department had a big pdf basically filled with tables. Other formats were not immediately obvious or available.
Asking it to convert it to a spreadsheet would be neat.
Asking it to extract just the locations of interest would be better.
That sounds like fun but a lot of work. Perhaps pick a different general purpose OCR?
I've found PaddleOCR to work really well for non-tesseract friendly text. Throwing the results back at chatGPT for formatting / extraction solves mucking about with detection, cropping, processing etc.

The story I chose didn't include the interests I entered.
I like length and pace of each section.
The story had the same generic style that a simple prompt such as tell me a children's story with a few themes and a problem/goal. Perhaps try to give the stories a bit more character.
Consider removing A/B and use the option directly as the text for the button. Keep it simple.

One can dream. I wear a solar eco drive that is coming up on ten years with the original battery. Not exactly comparable but the middle ground is unimpressive.
For my five year old, we have been rate limited on overdrive reading Pete the Cat and Franklin books. Partly because the selection is woeful (about 20 English books) compared to IA's thousands in that category.
