While there isn't anything special marking the edge of space, the generally accepted definition is 100km https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edge_of_space
It's so easy to access all kinds of information from home nowadays, it can be better at fulfilling my curiosity than going out.
Google is already storing urls to those files.
This is a nice example of simple evolutionary algorithm. Next steps could be separating crossover and mutate operations, selecting more parent pairs for crossover and applying mutation in a more random fashion (not with every crossover).
I'd use random data to make it hard to compress. You don't know if there won't be some link layer compression along the way.
most people are not intelligent enough
to use modern tools (computers) effectively
Most people have never been taught how to use computers effectively. This is great. Nobody ever travels from airport to airport, yet every flight search engine insists that you enter departure and destination airport names instead of places you actually want to go to. How am I supposed to know what airports are nearby a place I've never been before?
Id games have lot's of artwork, levels, etc. that is not released under GPL. In minecraft it's users that create the content. Id can release their engines under GPL without harming their sales.
I'm not sure why, but the page is in Korean. Here is an English blog post: http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/blog/3250656#blog
If it's supposed to stop bots why did they make it harder to read for humans than bots?
There is an interesting followup to that story on quora. http://www.quora.com/Mircea-Goia/In-your-journey-from-coal-m...
This is very annoying, especially in situations when it's not a music video, but the video has some background music not available in my county.
Just ask vupen if their exploit still works on new version.
When you forget your password you'll lose access to all of your data. Password recovery won't be possible if the key is password protected.
Is there any difference between x and * operations?
Everyone seems to be overlooking the privacy issues here. The main problem for me would be that even after I delete my account on some website they will still keep all of my data for one year.
Thank you for this. Now I have a list of places where I need to delete my account or change password.
It's pretty smart, but very simple. He just puts character ASCII codes into RGB fields in color picker. In 24 bit bmp format those values are saved directly to the file.
What I love the most about it is that I don't see any flash there. It's all HTML.
If it's true I wonder if Samsung actually does that deliberately or were their production systems hit by some malware.
You can always use more than one camera. Also I've somewhere seen a similar project that used HD video camera.
I think they are using IR, not UV.
"I found the bug on 12/3/2010"
Date format used in US is probably the most unintuitive. At first I read that as 12 march 2010. Made me think for a moment that it took Google almost a year to fix it.
You can edit sent messages on IRC?
I just checked that. They only let you undo when you delete messages from Inbox, which is trivial because those messages are not deleted but moved to Trash.
When I clicked on "Empty Trash now" all I got was this message: "All messages in the Trash have been deleted forever."
I don't see any ads. What country are you in?
I wonder how many patents Oracle has on this one.
It's not about where you have to live, but where you want to live. The whole point of remote job would be the ability to move to whatever place you like.
