+1 Sounds like a good use-case. You'd be able to fire up lots of clients very quickly.

You can run the full-stack inside a container. eg. run Red Hat or CentOS inside Ubuntu. The process inside LXC / Docker is unaware it's inside a container. You can have 100 processes all think they're binding to a given port, which simplifies things within the container. This is why docker images work so well: they can be fired up and use the same configuration no matter how many instances you create. LXC = jail on steroids.

Docker is built on-top of Linux Containers (LXC). These provide a secure isolated environment within Linux.

That's right. It's closer to the software layer than the infrastructure layer, so there's a lot more flexibility. You could essentially run a few machines on bare metal and use Docker as the virtualization layer. Just need an OS that supports LXC and you're good to go.

Thanks for the refund Noah. This deal didn't work for me, because there were a few too many surprises after I purchased (I should have read the descriptions more thoroughly) and too many broken sites (you were too popular). The entering the credit card details of the free trials was the final straw, and I realised I was spending far too long with this. I'd still consider it in the future, but with a little more consideration. I look forward to seeing what comes next for AppSumo.

What's the killer feature?

Hi Cory. Could you make it so that next button doesn't disappear? I tend to hover over next buttons so that I can click next, click next, click next, but it had faded away when I wanted to click it. Also, you might want to be careful of what videos you show, or have categories / ratings. One of first that came up was a man being mauled by a lion with a screaming crowd. It was quite shocking. I think the idea is good (the site, not being mauled by a lion). It's something that I think is lacking from YouTube, although it is now possible with music videos.

Having recently gone through Google's interview process, I think this site is useful getting up to speed for that, since Google is looking more for Computer Scientists than Computer Programmers.

I bought this, but now I want refund. The books are excerpts, which I didn't realise. Why is Inbound Marketing listed as $20 for 30 pages PDF? I can get the full new hardcover from Amazon for $16.47. Also, half the webpages to download the items will not load. This is costing me more money in time than it's worth. I cannot use my trials without giving my credit card details and risk paying for the high priced plans when they expire. I think this is a great idea, but poorly executed.

@bodds Sorry about that. Just using WordPress, but maybe it's the template I'm using. Please recommend a more non-javascript friendly blogging engine if you know one.
