I could go into the physics, but in short, no. Two hard contact patches just grab way more than a propeller can on air.

Boats have always been capable of faster acceleration in theory. Problem Child, for example, did 0 to above 250mph in about 3.5s.
You're not wrong, but not entirely right either.
They've not done it on a road surface from standing start. I know a reasonable amount about the tests that have been done to make those numbers, and Tesla require a foot rollout on VHT to get a 1.99/1.98 time. That's not the same as from standing on tarmac or concrete.
Rough rule of thumb is that starting from stopped on tarmac costs you about 25-.3s depending on conditions.

You're right, it was always 1.9. They're still talking out of their backsides though. If the Rimac supercars can't do it without a fan to suck the car to the ground, Tesla sure can't.
Without a fan you just can't get the traction you'd need. There's no tyre on the planet which could grip that hard.
Additional detail - I suspect with a one foot rollout, on a VHT surface, on a hot day, in ideal conditions, they might be able to get down to a 1.95/1.93 sort of area. But on actual normal road surface, from stationary, with the tyres it comes with? Not a chance. I'd be astonished if they got to a 2.05. 1.90? Not a hope.

Rural person here. We've been having this argument in the UK for the last... Oh, 400 years at least. It basically boils down to, some muppet in Whitehall shouldn't be making laws about what to do with sheep/cattle/pasture/abattoirs/grain coatings...
There's a lot of truth in it. You think there's bad regulation in tech? It's nothing compared to regulation on farming and ag generally.
In terms of solutions, the only one I've ever seen proposed which I think could work would be to have governing bodies for rural areas (and this could apply more broadly to areas of society), where they are free to make laws as it pertains to the area of responsibility of the group, with a coordinating body overseeing the groups to design for efficiency and arbitrate where conflicts arise.

I'd say it's worth noting that this only applies to SAAS. There's a giant pile of things missing from this if you have inventory, manufacturing or anything else more complex than software and developers.
Pricing is an unbelievably complex subject which this doesn't get close to discussing properly.
I'd second this. It's a bit waffle-y, but the shout for starting with a Van Westendorp PSM is pretty solid. Would like to have seen a mention of Gabor-Granger as that then helps bring a secondary element of profit maximisation into the mix.
Van Westendorp is great for understanding what prices the market will accept, but not great for allowing you to model what will maximise your returns.
Overall though it's a good intro to the subject.

It's likely being used in place of a propane set up for heating something like chicken houses, or maybe lambing sheds if it's somewhere cold.
Propane bills generally run about $30-60k for a decent sized operation, whereas if you burn bales (especially in something designed for it), it'll run you about 25-40% of that, depending on the year and price of straw.
It's a cheap source of likely locally available fuel.

29 was huge (way bigger than 08), but many of those others were in the ballpark of 08 or larger. As far as I'm aware, it's unlikely we'll ever see another as large as 29, but 08 sized? I'd expect another within 30-50 years of it.

Actions and tactics in this sense are different. An action at a strategy level might be "cull products not aligned with a focus on the athli-leisure market" or "create a new line of footwear positioned around the fashion tastes of the West Coast market", or "investigate new formulations to reduce reliance on lithium".
They're not tactical - no-one has yet made a decision on how those things will be done, or what elements of the business will enact them, or what the management and operational implications will be and how they'll be dealt with.
It's a level of abstraction above tactics.
It's not uncommon. Most Roman mosaics were laid using tesserae made of of local stone (most commonly limestone, sandstone and marble, but varies by area), glass and ceramics. Even in the case of the ceramics, the colour was baked in at firing, so there's nothing there (in terms of colours at least) in any of the materials, generally, to degrade. If they got worn, you just got the same colour through the whole of the tessera, so it wouldn't show in terms of degradation of the pattern - you'd just get wear and tear on the materials themselves.
Dying naturally (for basically anything we commonly consume as meat) if humans had never evolved, would be being eaten by a predator.

They're not even vaguely comparable in terms of utility. I may be wrong, but I think their most powerful unit comes in at mid 70'shp, with a max of ~300Nm torque. Compare that to a midrange JCB Fastrac like a 4190, which has north of 200hp and what, 950Nm? The newer ones are approaching 1500Nm, and a John Deere 9 series can get you up beyond 600hp and getting on for 3kNm of torque?
It's just not in the same league. They're very much light duty tractors.
Belarus are already imported into the US, as I recall.
It's a sliding scale. There's better and worse, but no-one's making open software systems which are generally available to be evaluated, updated and fixed, and the hardware side isn't much better.
Sure, a Kubota, Belarus, or JCB is better than a Massey or John Deere, but none are as good as they should be.
An old Belarus 420A is a simple tractor. Even a modern 742 or 1220 isn't that complex. But it's simply not as capable as a Fastrac 4 or 8 series, or a Valtra N or C series, or a Deere 6, 7 or 8 series for example. They're just not in the same league in terms of what they can do with tool management, fitness for specific tasks or tool interop.
As a single example, there's nothing that Belarus make that I'd want to use for buckraking a heap of any real size. They don't have a JCB 435S equivalent, or a heavier Fendt or Claas.
They're great tools, but you're not going to get the hectares per hour of sowing or harvest or the movement of tonnage of the modern competitors.
Background: grew up in farming communities, live in a farming community, almost everyone around us farms.
Repairable tractors would be a huge boon. I wish to anyone listening that Deere, New Holland, Valtra, Fendt and co would produce properly repairable, open heavy hardware.
Deere is the worst in this, but the rest of the industry isn't anywhere near as good as it should be.
There's a reason you see old Defenders, Fourtraks, Rangers, Hiluxes and their ilk around so much on farms. They're mechanically simple, which means you can repair them and keep them going basically indefinitely. Compare that to a modern Deere 7 series for example, and whilst the Deere is more capable, if something goes wrong, you're basically screwed. I've no problem with the hardware getting more advanced, but that same maintainability needs to be baked in.
The problem is, no-one seems interested in shaking things up there, and the manufacturers aren't in any hurry to change. They're a conservative bunch who don't need to, and for whom it's directly more profitable to make machines which can't be repaired by anyone other than themselves and people they authorise.

There's a few problems with that review. It's confusing air speed at a point with volume of air displaced, and assuming that volume at all frequencies is perceptually the same, which it isn't. Psychoacoustically, something with a sound profile at ~80Hz sounds quieter than the same dB noise at 250Hz, which is quieter than at 1000 Hz.
The Dyson fans tend to have a particularly quiet sounding noise profile compared to their volume of air displaced at low to mid power in particular, and also are far quieter and low powers than traditional fans.
They're not worth the money they cost, but there's a lot more nuance than this presents.
A huge number of regular household objects are more than capable of killing you with the voltage they're capable of exposing. Go to A&E. The risk being low isn't the issue, it that the consequence if it's a problem and you don't get it checked out is: you die.
Think of it as an inverse lottery you really really don't want to lose. The outcome, not the odds is what matters in this case.
