This reminded me of Hans Keller's wordless functional musical analysis. I came across it listening to his documentary on Schoenberg, available here: https://archive.org/download/miscellaneous_plays_1983-02-07_...
"Keller would construct an analysis in the form of an analytic score written for the same forces as the work under consideration and structured as a succession of 'analytic interludes' designed to be played between its movements."[1]

I think that is kinda what Tim Robbins does in the opening scenes of Code46 i.e. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaVXASxNrq4#t=7m35s
This a good suggestion with the caveat that entire domains can and do disappear: https://help.archive.org/help/how-do-i-request-to-remove-som...
It's not mentioned here but Kapwork contributed the beginnings of this work in a PR a couple weeks ago: https://github.com/browser-use/browser-use/pull/1437. Thank you Gregor & Magnus for the great tech and all you're doing for the community.

That's intriguing to the point I tried to find the relevant web site. Thanks for conveying your experience with it: http://web.archive.org/web/20080212005133/http://gpt.berlios...
For some URLs given one of their old Wayback Machine entries it would be nice to be able to render those in their contemporaneous browser environments (e.g., going way back maybe Mosaic 3.0 or IE 10) to maybe then have a chance of working with some close facsimile of the original interface and functionality.
Maybe try this post, "Object Oriented Programming vs. Functional Programming" by Bill Gathen dated May 12, 2015 [0]

Years ago a real estate agent driving me around to look at property relayed a somewhat pessimistic aphorism he'd picked up from his father: Life's a shit sandwich, the more bread you have the less it tastes like shit.

Just fyi on the native front our team recently started work on npm package webcrypto-crypt in conjunction with some experiments utilizing IPFS hypermedia and modern web browsers. Maybe others will find it useful: https://www.npmjs.com/package/webcrypto-crypt

C2FO | Research Engineer | Seattle | ONSITE, Full time, Visa considered | https://c2fo.com
The C2FO lab is charged with developing tools for small businesses to help them win the fight against their own unpredictable cash flow using networks instead of traditional financial intermediaries, e.g., banks.
Today we work mainly in Go and JavaScript and put roughly equal emphasis on writing papers and writing software. Team members need to be able to define their own areas of interest, write their own supporting documents, and lead their own coding projects while welcoming help and input from others. Simultaneous with the largely independent effort is a need to demonstrate to stakeholders outside the team why your work is valuable.
Our interview process consists of an initial conference call to assess mutual interest, then one or more onsite interviews in Pioneer Square.
C2FO as an organization is headquartered in Kansas City and has some great investors on board including Mithril Capital Management, Temasek, and Union Square Ventures. We have a separate, larger engineering team that we collaborate with and that publishes open source at https://github.com/c2fo.
The position includes an excellent compensation package (commensurate with experience), equity ownership, Health Benefits, 401K and more.
If interested, please email pete@c2fo.com.
EDIT: added benefits blurb
Salespeople are most effective in situations where convincing one person or one committee within a large prospective company to buy your product will unleash tens or better yet hundreds of thousands of dollars in fees to you, the seller. Most other situations should probably be handled with a great web page that shows reasonable pricing.

Arguably, rampant cynicism regarding a 14-year-old's attempt to make us all "feel like worthy people" says more about us than the kid. [0]

C2FO - https://c2fo.com - hiring a software engineer for a small labs team.
We maintain a web platform dynamically pricing working capital so companies can connect on the web to meet each others' cash flow needs without involving traditional financial intermediaries, e.g., banks.
The platform runs as a marketplace similar to a stock exchange where the assets considered are approved invoices. We work mainly in Go and Node.js on the backend. Our open source projects are available at https://github.com/C2FO. We also have some great investors on board including Mithril Capital Management, Temasek, and Union Square Ventures.
If interested, please email pete@c2fo.com.
Press release regarding C2FO's most recent venture raise is here: https://www.pehub.com/2015/08/c2fo-snaps-up-40-mln-in-temase...
Watching the GSN video on YouTube I was struck by the generic presentation of non-cash prizes. Press Your Luck was apparently content to just mention the contestant won a "Sailboat" without tethering it to a brand which seems like overlooked opportunity even for the simpler time since contemporaries like The Price Is Right were integrating brands into their show.
I'm not aware of a JS adapter for clara rules but per the wiki it does offer ClojureScript support "with a couple constraints"[1]

Our name stands for "Collaborative Cash Flow Optimization" and we maintain a web platform that dynamically prices working capital so companies of any size can connect with each other to meet cash flow needs without involving traditional financial intermediaries like banks or financial factors.
The platform runs as a marketplace similar to a stock exchange where the assets considered are approved invoices. We work mainly in JavaScript and particularly node.js; our open source projects are available at https://github.com/C2FO. We also have some great investors on board including Mithril Capital Management, Summerhill Venture Partners, and Union Square Ventures.

One question perhaps worth asking: Why do this piece and the many similarly tiresome pieces preceding it mostly fail to mention how higher salaries offered would motivate graduates and other unemployed people to acquire these missing skills?
Put a different way, fifteen or so years ago: "Economists who have studied occupational shortages generally hold the view that in an unconstrained market, supply will equal demand at the 'true' market price. If demand exceeds supply, salaries will be bid up until the market clears." [1]
Also of interest but perhaps unrelated, "At Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase average pay slipped by about 5% in the first nine months of last year, a figure that is probably representative of the wider industry." [2]

EditGrid is still around and free and unlike Google Spreadsheet's broken importXML function (see: http://goo.gl/fWYDi) it has a web_xpath function that mostly works.
Also worth noting DabbleDB is one of the (few?) relatively well-known projects implemented in Squeak/Seaside as discussed here: http://www.jarober.com/blog/blogView?showComments=true&t...
