I'm one of those improbable folks not based in US. While a tad more difficult to get by these days, I've eventually most always managed to find postcards. All post offices sell stamps (excluding the few that only manage parcels). Also, any postcard sized piece of cardboard that bears a stamp qualifies as a travel worthy postcard – once I did just that, for the fun of it, and it worked. I've once received a stamp beer coaster.

Postcards, while travelling, are one of the very few instances when I write by hand, these days. I started about 20 years ago, I most usually only write the address and a smiley — the old school analogue medium is most of the message (that I take the time to pick a postcard, which then has to travel physically to reach the distance to its target).

Is there an added health or digestive benefit of fully soaking the oats, overnight or microwaved? Or is it just a matter of taste? I just add some hot water and milk (indeed I'm not sure if what I have are plain or instant oats)

Optimistically speaking, the only drawback would then be I only get one screen/desktop for adding widgets – which, I guess, might be a reasonable trade-off.

I'm a bit confused on how this works, besides using the search each time I need to launch an app. Could I have more shortcuts in the home screen, or just what I pin as favourite apps?

And am I limited to only one space/desktop, normally if I swipe right, I get to the next desktop where I have other apps. So I can launch an app from the 3rd desktop with 2 swipes and a press. Now, swiping right I get the full list of apps where I'd need to search.

So much this. I for one haven't opted out. I feel it's in our best interest to have better models. It would be ideal to be able to opt in/out per thread, but I don't expect most users to pay attention / be bothered with that.

In this aspect, it would've been great to give us an incentive – a discount, a donation on our behalf, plant a percent of a tree or just beg / ask nicely, explain what's in it for us.

Regarding privacy, our conversations are saved anyway, so if it would be a breach this wouldn't make much of a difference, would it?

What would be a programmatic approach to find a list of most rarely used words (in any language?). I'm thinking, loop a list of words from a dictionary, and see how many results a search engine would return (filtering out dictionary results) - it would take a while - most languages have some hundred thousand words.

I revisited Aider a couple of days ago, after going in circles with AutoGPT - which seemed to either forget or go lazy after a few prompts - to the point it refused to do something that it did a few prompts before. Then Aider delivered from the first prompt.

any website? that's a rather tall order. Does it cover js navigation? I was looking forward to some guidelines/docs. It would be great to know what it can't do, if there's anything, save some dissapointment :)

Excited to see this. I built quite a few data-rich projects / dashboards with gSheets as backend/api - or as input UI, fetched to SQLite.

I'd be looking very much forward for: data validation, conditional formatting (including heatmaps) and - what gSheet doesn't offer natively, multiple choices cells via data validation or values from another column/sheet.

<s>I was surprised I couldn't way to view a spreadsheet as a DataTable, or back as a DataTable</s> (LE: found later how in documentation). And no sticky/frozen header row, ugh.

Cherry on top would be gSheets like SQL flavoured QUERY.

LE2: to add the wishlist, a potentially killer feature to/for some, dashboard type of sheet, with minimal/layout options –rows & columns blocks that can host charts & text (headings & paragraphs), with global filters – it would add a feature or two complementary to what gSheets offers. And at some point maybe, comments - per sheet or column only.

Similarly, Google Sheets might also be a popular endpoint.

It's not actively developed, but not abandoned either, if you judge by the closing of issues in the dedicated repository. It's also my file manager of choice (minimalist UI but reasonably featured).
