The worst aspect of this game is the tedious inventory management and awful UI. You only get 10 storage crates which each only hold 5 different items and they all look identical so you have to run around trying to find the right one to add it to the right stack. There's not enough space to be able to store most items especially if you need intermediate items for crafting, even if you limit yourself to storing only one stack of one type of item. You end up using all the exocraft just for storage and never use most of them besides only for storage. Progression is largely centered around buying extra storage slots for your exoskeleton which ends up allowing you to carry more stuff on your body than you can on a large vehicle or in one of these giant storage crates that barely hold anything. The item icons are also unnecessarily huge in them and there isn't an easy or efficient way of interacting with them. The big storage cubes allow you to access the inventory from anywhere so that somehow justifies the very limited space, but there is no option for building a container that you can only access locally from inside a base other than building portable refiners to abuse as storage, which hold hardly anything and sometimes despawn randomly. So you end up building like 50 refiners in a base for storage and you constantly run around trying to remember what each one holds so you can go store something in an existing stack to save space.

For Berkshire in particular most of this cash is part of the float for their insurance business which they need to have on hand and available to pay out for potential claims and they will only ever keep that part of the float in cash equivalents. Still they have a large amount of cash beyond what they need for the float which they attribute to lack of opportunities to invest in given their immense size and investing style. They also want to be able to be in a strong position in a downturn or crisis situation. Hoarding all that excess cash still presents a major opportunity cost for them, although now not as much as before with higher interest rates.

There's more than two parties. Nobody is forcing you to vote for one of them. Parties are also an anti-pattern. Again we need a better system than first past the post that naturally biases towards a two party system.

Sub Saharan Africa is still mostly in this situation and much less productive in farming than most other parts of the world. They are slowly improving but they lack the capital to invest in more productive methods. If they could improve their efficiency it would probably lift a lot of people out of poverty.

Also nonce misuse is a common failure mode among novices who might not understand what a nonce is supposed to be. People do all kinds of mistakes including using hardcoded static nonces. Its also fairly easy to come up with a bad protocol where someone can trick you into nonce reuse. Or there is a complicated error path that might involve a device going through reset where a nonce reuse might occur. Some of these are not so trivial to identify either.

I got a 4A recently (2 yrs ago now?) since it is supported by grapheneOS. My previous phone lasted 13 years, I intend to use this almost as long, or until there is a major hardware failure(failure with mainboard - not battery or screen or fixable issue). Next one might be a pinephone or fairphone if it is any good by then.

The recommended daily allowance is like 400 and that should cover the needs of most people. If you are deficient then you probably want quite a bit more than that until you get back to normal. The safe upper limit is 4000 /day so I would probably try to stick to doses below that. If you take 2000 per day that should be well within the safe range, and even if you take 2000 on as few as 2 days/week that probably covers your needs. Some individuals might have trouble absorbing it and might need higher doses though.

Doses that are too high can also cause blood calcium to spike and can pull it out of bones and deposit into soft tissue.

Did a fresh install on Windows 10 this weekend since, you know, I had to upgrade to Win 10 since Microsoft dropped support for Win 8 earlier this year and hadn't installed MC on it yet. I spent probably about 10 minutes trying to find the download page through the site before finally clicking log in to find it.

Then I ran the installer and after the installation finished I logged in but gave me an error something about that I wasn't logged into Windows Store or something. I've never run or logged into Windows Store and intend to never do that. I don't even think I have it installed right now. I tried finding a workaround for another 10 minutes before copying over an old installer from 2017 I had saved somewhere and that installer just worked flawlessly. I've now made a backup of that installer for long term use and just plan on using that one from now on...

I think it would be prudent to download and archive older versions of the game, especially ones that let you run it offline, for long term use before they take those down, as well as older installers and install them in a container/image/VM as a backup. Just be careful running old versions of the server with vulnerabilities like log4j etc. Of course you can also run cracked versions but there's no real need when you already have access to these if you don't care about having the latest updates to MC and you already own those older versions if you had the Mojang account.

Not enjoying it at all. I just want to use the Mojang account. Haven't used a single 'feature' of the Microsoft account that wasn't on the Mojang account.

Beware when migrating, Microsoft will lock you out of your migrated account on first or second use and the only way to get it to unlock it is to receive an SMS... except it rejects a large proportion of SMS numbers. When I first migrated it worked the first day and the next time I logged in they locked me out of the account for no reason (I also only logged in from the same computer both times from the same IP address so not like there was any suspicious activity...). This has also been reported by many users. I spent about half a day trying to find an SMS service that I could use to unlock the account and none of them worked. As a security engineer, I find this to be a poor design pattern -- don't require or assume the user has access to SMS, or even a cell phone, or even any phone (even though I did, wanted to avoid using my personal SIM for it), although allowing the option of 2FA through a phone is still a good practice. Also allow users to use older insecure options if they really want to as long as the risks are made really clear (but don't make it the default either).

It all seems a lot like Second Life or Active Worlds and feels like this has all been tried before. Look at where all those types of games are now.
