There are other unordinary methods to "reboot" body parts to treat malfunction, for example, some eye conditions can be treated by injecting a sedative into the eyes: https://news.mit.edu/2025/how-vision-can-be-rebooted-in-adul...

The future is to replace the Si base with something else. Silicon Carbide has higher thermal conductivity. Bismuth-based composites provide much higher frequency.

Besides ActiveX, old (<9) Internet Explorer supported VML (Vector Markup Language), which was neither supported by anything else, nor widespread. It could be made dynamic with the help of JavaScript, and the only dynamic example I could remember was an analog clock.
You could put it back into old salt mines.
So do the pre- and post-install scripts of Debian packages. The problem is not this but the lack of verified and controlled release channel.

It does not matter. Who's gonna stop them adding a new backdoor in a later Windows Update(TM) ? T this point they are not to be trusted at all.
"No, TPM+PIN does not help, the issue is still exploitable regardless, I asked myself this question, can it still work in a TPM+PIN environment ? Yes it does, I'm just not publishing the PoC, I think what's out there is already bad enough."

There's bigger issue than stuffing. In "rural" Hungary chain voting is customary where people are taken to the voting place by gangs and are either awarded with some money or a bag of potatoes, or threatened to be beaten if they do not comply. The first voter of the chain goes in, takes the ballot, hides it and takes it out. It is then pre-filled by the gang. The next voters take the prefilled ballot in, throw it in the box and bring a fresh clean ballot out, and so on...
In other cases, people get money/bag of potatoes for a photo of their correctly filled ballot.
Intentionally. Back then the guys were telling that everything could be solved by raw power.
Also don't forget losing daylight in summer evenings.
And you even get CO2-free meat in the end (I mean, if all the CO2 output is attributed to milk production only).

Timestamps should NOT be compared like this. Exactly this is why time_before() or time_after() exist.

And? Critical software like this shall have zero warnings.

The reverse slash of the 0 looks strange, which might have done to elminate a possible confusion with Norwegian ø.
There at least 2 AIs.
The first generation was complete garbage. Itanium 2 came too late and it did not get widespread due to wrong business decisions and marketing. By the time it could have been successful, AMD64 was out. And even then Intel targeted only the same high-end enterprise market segment, when they have implemented 64-bit on Xeon: https://www.cnet.com/tech/tech-industry/intel-expanding-64-b...
Both mentioned CVEs seem to be about local privilege escalation. So basically yes, if you don't install crap apps, there's a high chance that you are protected. Problem is that it might not seem to be a crap app, but a nice-looking game, etc. Also an attack can come in with an update of any app you have already installed on your phone.
Based on a Mediatek CPU, so not for me.
