If brain activations are insensitive to subtle adversarial attacks, we would expect people to choose each picture 50% of the time on average. However, we found that the choice rate—which we refer to as the perceptual bias—was reliably above chance for a wide variety of perturbed picture pairs

Ok, but the article doesn’t say what was the actual rate?

The problem is that one can change Apple ID password knowing only the pincode. No old password asked. This gives thief a full control of Apple ID

Settings -> Apple ID (top panel with name) -> Password&security -> Change password

I'm so tired of seeing this 70% number. There is a lot of available evidence against it. Why is it so widely quoted by western media?

The poll is from Nevada, same poll company that said 1% support Navalny as a politician. Navalny got 27% on Moscow mayor election in 2013. Tens of thousands of people were on demonstrations in his support in 2021, risking getting beaten up by police and jailed.

Out of ~100 people I know, maybe a couple somewhat support war.

In Moscow, none of civilian cars you see on the streets have Z/V/military symbols in support of the war. If war has 70% support, at least 1% would put it on display.

I’m curious what is your source for Russian civilians supporting the war?

My counter-point is that almost everyone from my friends, family and colleagues are upset about the war, and many left the country

I actually learned a lot from this article.

Are there more detail guides and reviews of the subject?

While it is generally assumed that a romantic subject cannot be studied formally, there is obviously skill and knowledge involved in making process pleasurable for oneself and a partner

“Independent pollsters”, my ass. According to their polls, Navalny support was 0-1% while so many people was arrested during demonstrations in his support in Moscow that thousands were put into immigrant detention center instead of regular jails.

Also, people are scared they will get fired from their government jobs or worse if they voice opposition.
