In 1930 Jews were 11% of Poland's population. There we're 116 Jewish newspapers. In September 1939, around 120k Jews fight with Germans in Polish Army (as officers as well, please find officer in Whermaht or in SS) against Germans and Russians. All pow's with Jewish ancestors we're murdered by Germans :-/, only because they we're Jewish.
Well what my point is, you cannot say things like this, it's just wrong. You're harming a memory of wonderful and amazing cultural contribution.

It depends on Your product. If it's innovative give them chance to know You. I agree with prakash be short, and show them in short why it may become useful. I would add that You will hear "no" plenty of time. Don't discourage. Customer don't pay attention, they have enough their problems.

Well you all may missing the point. It's not important at what hour You get up. The matter is how long did You sleep. Normal person needs up to 4 circadian cycles. We make one every 1.5h, it varies individually. Here is real catch, if You sleep over this four cycles. Your brain starts to use some proteins produced during sleep. Its big waste because catecholamine is produced only during sleep. So if You over sleep, You loose energy, and You may wake up tired.
To start wake up earlier, this was tested by myself. You need to reset your brain. So don't sleep for night or two. And after go sleep on proper time. For 6-6.5h. You will be fresh as new born.
Interesting about the sleeps starts when You have idea about, training polyphasic sleep :-). Well its different story.
For graphics its essencial to be great in math.
Rest of programing skills lies in pattern recognition skill. Its like learning new natural language.
I would recommend You to learn esperanto (many good programmers known to me are pros in eo), latin some greek (my professors from univ told me so, i know little of them).
As previous speakers pointed out, logic is essential. I would say that logic is a base line of all success. Cooker like programmer use the tool - brain.
