I don't think this solves anything regarding proportionality of how the economic development is distributed.

It has to be proportional to the amount of contribution poeple are doing instead of being proportional to how much already they have. Or at least the slider needs to be moved toward that direction.

So wages need to be higher (taxed less) and wealth should be taxed to force asset prices down. Giving people stock obviosly does none of these things. It ties wealth more to assets (stocks) so it will make stock (asset) prices higher which means working people will get poorer compared to richer people.

It should be possible to do a decrease in wage (concrete income) tax by putting a tax on wealth in a resonable way. This can also be balanced for older people by boosting pension payment in a way so they don't get overly effected by this in case they have all their money on their home.

If you think that way I would recommend just keeping away from these topics. It is just useless arguing and speculating about things don’t matter.

I have been trying to keep away in the last couple weeks and it was all win for me. I still come down here sometimes when I am stressed with real work since it is a strong addiction to see “how terrible the plebs are doing”.

There is a case where farmers don't have the power to fight against big corporations. One example in US that I know of is roundup pesticide issue.

This makes me think that it is possible for corporations to suppress the price on the farmer side and fix it on the consumer side.

This happened to at least some crops in Turkey in the past, for example farmers were selling hazelnut for 15TRY/kg and you could only buy it for 100TRY/kg in big cities. Farmers were actually complaining that they couldn't even make a profit from growing hazelnut.

Corporations would like to do this with even water if given the chance as Nestle CEO was saying himself in a famous video.

So they would for example do it with bread and starve people in the process if it means they can make money. And I think that they could easily do this for example in US if they didn't correctly fear that people would force the goverment to smash them.

Also the selling format doesn't have to be the crop itself. For example they make nutella from hazelnut. So farmers can't associate it directly with their selling price even though it is obvious that they are getting shafted.

Another possibility is the farmer selling 80% to the corporation for the normal price and then selling the rest at a massive markup so both profit. Same thing that is happening with ram manufacturers. Then the whole thing is justified as free market and only the consumers get hurt because in the end you have to buy RAM. Or equally the corporation could pay the farmer a 20% bonus and still make 80% extra profit on end consumer. Farmer might not object if the scheme is dependant on the corporation.

Conventional wisdom does work for me but it is immensely difficult. I would say take the advice seriously but don't take the timeframe or problem difficulty assesment coming from other people.

It is only natural that it takes months to years to fix a problem if you had the problem for years.

I also have sleep drift problem and consistenyly had it for the past 7 years.

I discovered that it helps when I actually put in effort to fix my sleep schedule. Like getting off screen 1 hour before I sleep. Boxing bedtime to 23:00-08:00. And similar things.

It is just really difficult to fix for me but it doesn't feel impossible. I have made progress in last 6 months but trying different methods and only some portion of that progress stays permanent.

Also have the same experience fighting depression-like symptoms and anxiety. It just takes a lot of time and is difficult. Some people just don't have these problems and I do but this doesn't mean I am genetically attuned to be like this and I can't do anything. It is just difficult.

I really doubt you can’t buy the whole harvest of a farmer if you pay for the whole thing. You can probably buy it for less than normal

I have similar feelings but also think this is mostly an effect of more people participating.

The people that create slop garbage profiles or cookie-cutter profiles didn't have very quirky profiles before. The probably didn't even participate before.

The quirky stuff is still there and maybe there is even more of it but it takes effort to find it instead of being able to go online and everything being novel.

Killing people in any context is barbaric because it is not possible to bring someone back from the dead.

I’m not a law expert but it seems pretty basic that there shouldn’t be irreversible punishment.

Also there should be equity which means everyone that does the same crime should face the same consequence, which doesn’t happen anywhere in the world as far as I can understand.

I don’t think unreal engine games play and look as well as custom engine games. Like doom or cyberpunk. If you open cyberpunk without rtx etc. It really really looks good and also plays very well.

Also there is obviously a massive gap between how games look and what the hardware is capable of. Cyberpunk runs better than total war attila on my computer as an example.

This “don’t need to learn code” vibe will bring a big quality and good pay wave programming. It was getting more obnoxious because of more and more mba guys getting into programming because there is money in it.
