Why is there a new frontend-whatever-work / tool every week? Database stuff is fairly stable, so is backend stuff. Browser APIs seem stable to me too? Why can't you guys decide that this is how things are best done

This is ultimately arbitrary restriction, as most can't tell if it is modal consciousness behind the response or CGPT; that is, why on earth would you not just ban the people who contribute nothing but CGPT-tier responses too?

I think you just need a person with actual executive function to order the people to arrive to a given location at a given time once he hashes out the details. That is, I think your first ideal point is wrong. If these are 4 busy people their executive function might literally be gone after work week. They can only think in potato.

Do not ever forget what was promised: Russia in rubble in two weeks from sanctions and Russia out of missiles in two weeks. This was the "negotiated" social contract upon which quality of life in other parts of Europe was thrown into a dog shit trash fire. These kinds of articles are just not-so subtle cover for the once again failure of leaders here, and moving the goalposts and rewriting of history.

I use Vivaldi because it simply has more the features in a better package than these open source browsers. Maybe some day Firefox stops fucking around with and just starts stealing UX features from Edge and Vivaldi so I come back, but for now I can't start using it.

then ask yourself - what have you done in order to have interesting job, projects, challenges, etc?

This thousand times for all the whiners. Learn an esoteric skill, get hired for esoteric job.

We're gonna accelerate that is for sure. The optimistic case is that we will actually understand language at the end of this, and end the dark age caused by the printing press, and come to understand what consciousness is (it is actually not what these things are displaying, people need to read "Interface Theory of Perception" for what's happening).

The pessimistic case is just more confusion!

Legal and ethical concerns will be subordinate to technological advances, so they are largely things of no worry.

As for your question, just replace the machine learning algorithm with a human in the loop and ask yourself the same question, and you got your answer according to our norms as is.

(Not having read the article) the main purpose for me, to write publicly in something like a personal blog, would be to keep myself honest and place the writing under review / critique so I could learn from people who know more.

If this is for software developers, Notion also belongs to trash. It is slow to use, you need to click for everything etc.

The best documentation is straight in the code file: module documentation at top, then method documentation for each method with a simple example / doc test showing what is the input-output relationship, the second best is an .md file in same repo etc. the more friction you add the worse you make this process for software developers (Jira / Confluence as the king dog shit of documentation process - these are not for developers these are for people who need job security).
