Designer, technologist, and founder of OpusLABS — exploring the future of emotional computing, ambient AI, and posthuman interfaces. I work at the intersection of large language models, haptics, and human experience. Focused on building tools and systems that feel natural, invisible, and emotionally intelligent.

Currently developing Opus: a wearable device that translates digital sentiment into tactile sensation. Also writing about entangled minds, design futures, and AI-native workflows.

Always building, often philosophizing.

I argue that people who combine product design and engineering are rare but uniquely valuable in startups, especially now that AI tools amplify the need for judgement and system-level thinking. I describe how hybrids prototype, ship, and reduce friction between design and engineering, and why they are often misunderstood in hiring. I’d love HN’s take on hiring hybrid roles and examples of teams that made this work.
