There is no solution that fits all. Depends of your target audience and where they operate.

Audience is on Twitter/X ? Build in public and post regularly about your work. Audience is on facebook ? Targeted Ads may work for you Audience is a set of professionals ? Target forum or places they go

There are lots of ways to run a business and lots to fail one. Take your time and check point by point what went wrong with your project:

- Did your project fill someone's need? - Did you have an exact idea of how you would earn money? - Was your communication effective enough (did you reach your target)?

My thoughts is that you're still young, do not lose hope at 25, try to find what were your weakness. Keep it up :)

The first thing I got in mind is the Status bar. Now you have access to the full screen, status bar included. You may have some gap between iOS 6 and iOS 7 on this level.

Well, I'm far from being an expert but as soon as the phone grants a root access I think there is a possibility to get it.

Since it's stored on the phone, the print or the print informations are somewhere in your device. Encrypted or not I'm pretty sure someone is going to find out how to retrieve what he wants.

I think you should look after cocos2d-x. It allows you to make 2D for a lot of platforms. It's using C++ http://www.cocos2d-x.org/
