Interesting. You and another commenter on the article are making me want to try this. I've definitely noticed better energy levels through the day when I eat small quantities frequently, but I agree that it can be a lot of work. I've never tried the once a day thing. I'm skeptical, but it sounds intriguing enough to try...

ha! I hadn't thought of that one, but I totally agree. I personally use a dark background with a soft almost pastel color scheme (vividchalk in vim). I think the dark background really helps allow me to stare at the screen for a long time without getting as fatigued. Great suggestion.
I edited it a bunch. Hopefully it's better now. Thank you for the feedback.
You're right. I really didn't mean to come off like that. But looking back I should've known better and should've worded things more professionally. I think I may edit the post based on what you guys have said about my tone. I was sincerely trying to help.
Hey, I completely agree. The tone of my post was pretty aggressive but sincerely my goal was to be helpful, if a bit gruff.
The recruiters I have worked with have been like any other demographic, mostly very nice people and great to work with, but then there are some bad apples that make the rest look bad. I wrote this to try to give feedback on what it's like from our end, to let them know what's more likely to work, and what's not.
CL's robot.txt file does not 'disallow' crawling the real estate section. So Padmapper was likely as compliant as Google.
This is a total shameless plug here, but I've been building a site for exactly this reason for a couple months, and would really love to hear feedback.
The site is http://namrr.com
No I'm not doing any front running or any thing like that. I hope to maybe make some affiliate dollars, but really I built this for myself first, because I hate the stupid frustration of trying to find a name, and I want to make it easy. It's a total work in progress. I would love to hear what you think. Hope I don't get flamed for the self promotion...
