It may be that they are speeding it up by keeping the .net runtime resident in memory. They used to do this with Visual Basic runtime

I ran norton utilities on my pc yesterday and noticed a new service - it was .net runtime. Please note that I am a developer so this may be just to help launch the tools.

Unfortunately, as you are a minor, most real people can not talk with you. You should be very careful if anyone reaches out to you - they may be a predator.

On top of that, most people will not take you seriously, as you are young.

I suggest you find someone of a similar age at school or a local event. Another suggestion is to ask an older family member to help keep you safe.

Last suggestion: just build it.

I gave the domain Wordpress.com to Matt 20 years ago. This domain is worth millions according to some estimators online, but I gave it to him for Free to support open source.

He then sued me and I lost my job, my house, and almost my marriage.

I do not think anyone could hate Matt more than I did. I went to therapy for years, but eventually learned forgiveness.

I am confused about what is going on with Wordpress. It does look like Matt is acting like a dick.

But I am not sure he is wrong.

Matt may have a right to protect Wordpress - FOR THE COMMUNITY. It looks like Matt’s post is about being betrayed. I know how that feels.

How can I make a website censor resistant?

I am the founder of OpenDomain - a non-profit project I have run for 20 years that has contributed domains worth millions to charities and non profits to support open source. I have given domains to Google, OsCon, Fosdem, Jabber, Brenden Eich, Drupal, and the W3c.

One of the domains I have is http://fascist.com/ - I want someone to use it to support anti-fascist movement.

The problem is that this site may criticize some of the most powerful people in the world.

How do I set it up to be censor resistant? How do I vet people to help? How do I protect users to allow open dialogue?

I used to respect National Geographic.

I came to this site to read the story, but they wanted my email first.

I get it - they worked to produce this content and now they wanted to track me so they could get better advertising revenue.

But I was not interested in the story that I wanted to give my private info, so I decided to go back.

Unfortunately, it appears as if National Geographic is using a dark pattern to try to force people to enter an email - the page would not let me browse away.

I am working on a new type of NFTs.

I found a way to add code to NFTs. The simplest way to understand it is that it is similar to Adobe flash.

I know that NFTs are down, but I have invented a way to add actual utility. I call them xNFTS - executable non fungible tokens. Imagine the famous Ape or Penguin NFTs - by adding my technology, the NFTs can change images, play music, or play games without installing anything.

I got a patent on the process and they work on any blockchain- or even off. the market is down, but I am very excited about tying web2 with web3.

Phone data service is not really unlimited- they will throttle after a while.

Also, the data latency and packet size are much worse over mobile networks.

I have used it for years, but they recently crippled it. it is unusable now.

SoapUI seem like it is too tied down to xml.

Some general advice: It is ok to hire individuals remotely, but do not start with time and materials. Pay for work product. Get a lot of quotes and hire multiple people and keep the best Use the full SDLC tools to ensure quality: git, tests, stories, Ui mocks, etc It is ok to choose a cheap database or other core tech, but design the system to be able to change. Using the cloud will be faster and cheaper to start, but more expensive in the long run.
