Setup Proxmox and Tailscale on it so you can create VMs or containers as you need and access them from anywhere.

Setup Coolify on it. With Coolify and Cloudflare Tunnels you can self host your personal projects even behind CG-NAT.

With monthly subscriptions like Claude Code Max, inference spend shouldn't be high enough for this to matter at the moment.

But if an employee is really spending that much on inference, the results they achieve with AI is part of their performance and their inference spend should be considered part of their total compensation.

Fabric seems interesting, it's a shame that it doesn't have a bigger ecosystem around it.

It seems to me like only the platform for large businesses that has managed to get a large integration ecosystem is Magento, which is losing popularity now. The other ones with big communities tend not to be suitable for bigger shops (Prestashop, Woocommerce and depending on the business, Shopify).

Sylius is trying to take over this market but the community is still young.

I'd recommend using Ansible instead. I've found it to be much simpler than Chef and Puppet, especially if you only have 1 server to manage.
