Lastly, yes, the techno scene does scratch that itch for atmosphere and psychedelia. I've been to a few techno parties and was surprised by the striking similarities to that '00s sound.

I think the main goal for this kind of symbolic actions is to raise awareness. Only the fact that we are now here discussing about the problem, is a big success, imho. Should they also do, not only symbolic but also considerable actions? The hell they should. But that doesn’t make the first point moot.
I have a Dell P2415Q and even though it's relatively old, the density is even higher than the monitors mentioned there.
It doesn't have the feeling of macbook's retina, but still is good enough.
Wouldn't these monitors feel that they have even less clarity that this dell one?
Where is Facebook? I guess that would be one of the most interesting policies to analyze.
Since last week, I started leaving my macbook at the office. That made me to spent more time to other hobbies, and except a couple of times where I felt I really needed it (import photos from the camera, etc), the week was quite fine without it.
I thought you were going to say: “Who cares if you build this project or not. Go out and enjoy life, as long as you can.” :P
