Great idea! I really wanted to use this...but then I dug into how it worked.

You have to use their Credo cryptocurrency to get your email through / you receive Credo when someone pays. Which no one has and no one should have. They probably take a fee on every payment.

Once you get Credo you probably want to exchange it for USD or another crypto that is more broadly used and accepted at other merchants. How do you do that? Through their exchange which they take a .25% fee to buy sell.

So they double dip on a micropayment of a few cents.

Holding tether is useful when you are trading on an exchange that has no fiat on ramp or checking account. Many exchanges are crypto-only, you send crypto in, trade, crypto out. You can hold tether if you want to be exposed to the USD position without having to send out

Cool! So who is the target user for this product (technical and non-technical?)? Revenue model?

I am red-green colorblind, and I’ve always just accepted that I’ll have a hard time with certain UI’s. I’ve never really thought it worth the time to design for the colorblind. Although recently I noticed Trello has a colorblind mode where you can use patterns as well as colors to denote labels...that is a simple yet effective way and has helped me a lot!

Certainly would be nice to see more of this in the design thought process.

Why flag this post? It is relevant. When Tiger woods got divorced his golf game spiraled downward. To say this will have absolutely zero impact on Amazon is naive. There are ownership issues that are worth billions to sort out.
