I personally know lots of people here in Germany living off 20k/year and less. More would be better, but it's doable.

You should definitely limit the sizes that can be generated otherwise with URLs like http://host/WIDTH/HEIGHT/MODE/path/to/image it's pretty easy to mildly DDOS you.

It used to be possible to enable CSS variables support via chrome://flags' #enable-experimental-web-platform-features in previous Chrome builds. Support has since gone again. Hoping for a reappearance soon.

CSS Variables in combination with an additional build step[1] is actually quite usable right now.

If you want to keep bash completion on working when having git aliased to g, try to add this line to your .bashrc:

Happened to me, too. With the exception I have FileVault enabled. Contacted Apple Support and looking forward to resolve this issue. Otherwise I'm stuck with Mountain Lion. Can anybody confirm this has something to do with FileVault, actually?

That's not entirely true from what I see. Look at http://hbk-bs.de/en/studium/studienbewerbung/bachelor-studie... which should be representative of other art schools in Germany. There are no very special requirements which would keep you from applying as a Non-EU citizen.

I went to art school in Germany and paid a €200 fee per semester. That's about it. Education at art schools here is still very good and free - as in free thinking. When I read articles like this I'm just super happy that our education system hasn't yet been privatized. In order to learn, you'll need time to study. You'll need time without monetary pressure. My advice is to go to art school and challenge yourself, once in your life you shouldn't really care about money but about making the best work possible.
