Hey Seth!

Thank you for reaching out, sorry I only just now saw it. I just tested it and it indeed work without any problems now and I successfully started my 1 month professional sub. I think what confused me about needing a credit-card was the stripe(? I think) checkout form :D But you are right, it didn't actually want my credit-card number after putting in my address.

Much appreciated the help!

I got that email too. When it wanted my credit-card number I didn't have my wallet by my side so I thought I'd do it later. When I remembered the next day and wanted to give it a try again I was told I had already used the code.

Guess not then.

I trust Mullvad, or more like I haven't found a reason to not trust them yet. I buy the activation cards on Amazon for convenience and as far as I can tell the individual scratch off activation code you activate on their site with your account number cannot be traced back to you.

Definitely didn't want to come across as belittling or anything. Just stumbled on that tool a few weeks ago when I tried to backup my iPhone photos and was surprised how well it worked and how painless it was. Maybe it's because I'm not a native speaker, but I had no bad intentions, just wanted to tell what worked for me.

If you're on linux I can only recommend ifuse with the libimobiledevice package. I followed the guide on the arch wiki[0] and could simply mount my iPhone to a directory[1] and then just drag and drop them over. For some reason there were 1000 pictures per folder so I had a few different folders, but otherwise it was super simple.
