I can relate to this experience as well. The transition catched me off guard. My advice would be to embrace the change while staying true to yourself. Live without regrets and, as Arnold Schwarzenegger would say, don't listen to the naysayers.

The ads do not look at what you have purchased at all. I used Google Admob to help cover cost but these are generic ads and not based on what you have sent to your recbox email address.

With regards to the privacy policy, being a small (2 person) company I was limited with the options available.

I wrote the app for two reasons:

1) Store all my receipts in one place and stop my email filling up with future emails from these stores

2) I wanted to learn/explore React Native and Google Cloud

There are ads on the app but these are to cover the running costs if people did decide to use it.

There is no dubious intentions, I was just keeping my skills fresh and thought other people would find the app useful.

After leaving school Shirley decided not to go to university but instead to go straight into the world of work.

In the 1950s she worked at the Post Office Research Station at Dollis Hill building computers from scratch and writing code.

She studied at evening classes for six years to obtain a Mathematics degree. In 1959 she moved to CDL Ltd, manufacturers of the ICT 1301 computer.

Price is a hard one, I would say under $100 ideally.

The other option is to only pass on the cost of the device and display ads and use this as a way of revenue or $149 with no ads.
