Thank you. You make some really good points. Right now, we are able to compete well with others in the "few thousand dollars" price range. Bigger clients don't entertain us(yet) because we are so small and obviously without the track record of handling big projects.

Good point! Yes, we have increased our rates but not kept them very high. I guess that's one of the reason potential clients continue to approach us. I think we are at a point where it makes sense to grow our team, but there are these constraints about wages etc as I mentioned in my description. We want to be as thoughtful and smart about hiring as possible. We are currently growing but we want to make sure whatever we do is sustainable in the long term. One option is to partner with other freelancers and sub-contract some stuff and we have done in few instances, but there's additional risk to that approach and probably not very beneficial in the long term

I agree. Whenever I decide to lose weight, I've always found that turning both the knobs(diet & exercise) at the same time in the beginning is overwhelming and doesn't work for me. I have to get into a routine for one of the two first before focussing my attention on the other. Usually, it's exercise first. Wonder if other people have same exeperience

Didn't know what 'working for the man' meant and had to look it up. :P urban dictionary to the rescue ! What you say does make sense in general, but I was curious about what are the ways in which one could change(reduce) the reset clock interval. Plenty of general advice about meditation, exercise, task management etc i think will help but with following that do people start most days like fresh as Mondays or at least close to? Lot of traditional self-help advice is along the lines saying start every day as new without carrying baggage from earlier day, but it is hard and hasn't worked well for me. I probably sort of "procrastinate" and subconsciously look towards start of the week for that.
