Do you have an API? I'd be interested in incorporating it into Storytella - https://storytel.la/

Anyone know of a Dropbox equivalent based in Europe?
I'm glad you posted that before I installed it.
I haven't tried it myself so can't vouch for it but GimpShop (http://www.gimpshop.com/) fills a similar niche.
Thanks for the feedback! Someone else has said similar things about registering and allowing people to demo the app without signing up so I'm adding that to my task list.
The entity system and the writing stats are probably the biggest differentiation from Word or Google Docs, so I'll make these features the core part of a demo.
Thanks again!
My company (http://nomad.coop/) operates in a similar fashion. We all work under the Nomad umbrella, are equal partners in the company (a requirement for being a coop) and work together on freelance projects as we need to. We've been together for around four years and it's worked incredibly well for us.
I really like Codemirror, it was simple to get set up in https://storytel.la/ and easy to extend. I'm a few versions behind and didn't realise it handles mixed width fonts, so thanks for mentioning it.
It's one of my favourite films for its depth and its amazing soundtrack.
I've been living in Glasgow for 18 months now and never had a problem. Everyone has been phenomenally friendly, which was a surprise, having grown up in Norfolk where standoffishness is the norm.
Endorsements always seemed a bit off and it wouldn't surprise me if they were automated. I had an ex-colleague repeatedly contact me about endorsing him as he had endorsed me. At that time I hadn't looked at LinkedIn in months so I had no idea why he'd endorsed me. I got the impression that the site had suggested he do it and now obviously I should return the favour. All very annoying and one of the main reasons I closed my account.
I deleted my LinkedIn account last year because I got tired of dealing with spam emails from them and people bugging me to endorse them for skills. I still get emails from LinkedIn telling me someone would like to connect. For a site which is supposed to be about building professional connections I find them horrible to deal with.
I probably shouldn't have tried a 12,000 word short story...
I would love an API to this so I can integrate it into Storytella, the writing app I'm working on.
