For subtractive colors (dyes) you're right. For additive (light), green and blue make cyan (Hex: #00FFFF)

I disagree. The suggested message is so generic, that it looks like spam, even to the person who lost the airpod. Also, the author said they verified that the airpods could pair with the owner's device

I think there is as difference between having the cat in the background and posing with the cat. It's in the same vein of having a photo of your cat on your shirt.
