hi my name is nick I write software.
I’ve been using fresh rss for the last few months so far I’ve really enjoyed it. The mobile interface works great.
This looks really cool but how much does it cost?
I’ve been using Immich for about 4 months. My original goal was to migrate off of google photos. Immich is the best self hosted option. But google photos search is so much better. You can search for a location, date, item, landmark with natural language Immich takes a little finessing to get the result you’re looking for. It’s also not great for pet photos yet. I’m running both in parallel hoping some day Immich catches up with some of those features. I’ve donated for the license that funds some of the development. Even over the last four months I’ve seen some improvement. The mobile app needs some work for background syncing but it’s on the road map for early 2025.
Eagle.cool is a cool application! I can think of a lot of things you could track beyond image assets. I have a few friends that work in the prop industry and they have always talked about wanting a way to track props across productions.
https://vetted.ai - has been one of my favorites this year. It’s an AI shopping assistant. It’s especially useful searching for gifts for friends and family.
The wii news channel did this! It was a cool way to learn the control and interact with the news.
All output being an object is one of my favorite things about powershell. I miss it when I have to write a bash script.

In our software development we tag a git branch and code gets compiled and deployed and we would like to synchronize those systems.
The scripts might involve a change to how a user is added to the system and another might be a change for how a user is updated. The "update user" script cannot be deployed until the "add user" script is deployed.
If you're creating your own browser you are not going to start with CEF. You're going to take the Chromium source code and build from there.
I wonder if they are using this in Android Messenger or Gmail for the suggested responses.
Cleaning my house for 10 minutes after getting home from work. It Has save me a significant amount of time on the weekend, by lowering the number of house cleaning chores I have to do. Sometimes I spend more than 10 minutes but I try to set that as the bar and sweep or fold laundry or load the dishwasher.
You don't have to buy any food.
Oink from Milk was an app that sort of did that. Heres a video demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xADESocujo
They unfortunately didn't last to long. Maybe they were to early?
I really enjoyed the Masters of Doom, which I guess is sort of a biography of that time for John Carmack and Romero, I liked the narrative style. Does anyone have any other similar recommendations?
Is now really the time to buy?
I have been using request blocking in developer tools for the last month. It's really made some aspects of development easier for me. I hope Firefox follows suit and adds it.
They have convertible chromebooks.
Have you looked at IBM's Speech to Text? - https://www.ibm.com/watson/developercloud/speech-to-text.htm...
Not sure if there is a difference but might be worth trying a few different services.
That's cool I've been kind of thinking building something like this. Are you using Twilio? How are the transcriptions?
Seems like there is a lot of hate in what you are saying. Yeah they were fierce in the industry, but I think any company in their position would have done the same. What did Gates do to the rest of the world in the 90s?
What's the difference between this and AndroidBootstrap?
